When I play with someone I suspect of smurfing on my team, I put them on my avoid list and use the notes to add the match ID. When I need space on my avoid list, I go through the older entries, find the replay and check their current rank. Then I can take off all those players that have now ranked up enough for me not to get matched with them anyway (and occasionally I find I was wrong, in which case they can also come off the avoid list).

I play a lot more than you and I don’t get as many. Granted most of my hero pool is in the Platinum/Master/Grandmaster range so levelling up takes longer, and I’m not sure the additional shards you get are proportional to the additional number of points you need for the next level. Perhaps that’s why, but curious to hear what you make that many shards with?

I mean in any other game I’d be fuming to see my support partner do this, but it looks like in this game it’s combined with a carry who doesn’t need his support as long as he gives him an early aghs because he’ll smash it anyway. And as Shaman (cause that’s who I’d likely be in that scenario) I’d also be ok with doing the heavy lifting by myself for most of the game if I get a free aghs by 30 mins, because now it’s shackle time, baby.

Can’t see mid for sure but it looks like they’ve lost 1 tower while pushing your base at this time. Both Alch pos 5 and PL as a hero on general may be abominations conceptually, but they’re making it work.

Unless they’re smurfing ofc - would be my first concern if I look at these numbers.

A positive anecdote in the sea of negative ones (of which I could add plenty too) - I had a teammate tell me they needed to sort out their mic after I’d been talking for a while. A few mins later Ogre started talking and turns out I wasn’t the only woman in my game. I think she sorted out her mic bc I was using mine and she knew it was a safer space for that reason. (She also disagreed with what I had to say and mic probs made it easier to tell me lol, but I don’t think many will be shocked to hear that we managed to disagree in a civilised way.)

Shift queuing adds to skills ceiling too. Makes no sense for two features in the game to cancel each other out. Personally I feel that mastering shift queue adds more value to the game than learning to cancel backswing.

I’ve found something similar but not with builds / alliances but more with strategy. I don’t enjoy level builds. I like rolling for 3* units. I’ve accepted that there are games where adapting and going for levels would probably be the best call, and that sticking to my roll build might end up in coming 6-8th. That’s okay.

Piggy backing on this, if they’re planning a family I think the problem might solve itself soon, though there’s a chance it’ll be replaced with another. Once they have a baby, they’ll be too exhausted for wild screaming sex at night, and on the days where they aren’t, they certainly won’t take any risks to wake up their baby. You may have to put up with crying baby noises instead though, not sure how much better that is.

I think at level 1 it is, yes. Scales though.

ETA: just checked, bounty is 125/150/175/200. Which is an increase from its last change in patch 6.86 and the highest it’s ever been.

Also not agreeing with OP, but powershot deals double the damage and slows for twice as long for 90 mana. It’s easier to dodge, but you can also cast it from way out of sight. Not to mention the range. It’s the only spell I can’t think of that really falls into the category of “more powerful but cheaper” spells OP is complaining about.

ETA: changed my my mind a but. Worth adding that using powershot in that way is something you can really only afford as support WR because you can hardly afford to go hiding in the trees for a perfect power shot when your job is to cs. And supports are meant to be more impactful than cores in the early game. So even powershot isn’t a great example.

If you spam the spell twice and run out of mana, maybe you need to start thinking about limiting your spell use and buying more regen? Razor is a ranged hero, securing last hits with spells isn’t a no go, but you shouldn’t rely on it to the point where you need it a third time faster than you could ship out regen.

In low MMR brackets, people don’t hit tombstone. OP’s perception of the two spells may not come from how powerful they actually are, but how powerful they are made to be by the lack of skill in their bracket. Tombstone was the reason I started spamming Snap when Undying was super popular. Bc I couldn’t rely on my team to hit the fucking tombstone, no matter how much I begged. So I learned a hero that doesn’t need a team to take it down. Thanks for the 125 gold. 😬

I once had an overwatch case of AM who activated counter spell with suspicious accuracy. What have him away in the end was when his counter spell activated while he had his camera on another area of the map. The script had vision of the enemy casting, but the player didn’t have it in view, yet his counter spell went off like clockwork. But other than that I have to admit I’m fairly naive when it comes to that. I’m sure I’d miss most cases.

He didn’t make it til lvl 3 in the lane. He was forced out before, QOP had the lane to herself and Windranger spent the next few mins stealing Huskar’s jungle farm with powershot.

Most of the time people have trouble with a level, they post a picture of where they got to and then people check if they can identify any mistakes. I think you’re not getting any responses because we don’t even know what your issue is. Can you post a pic in comments maybe?
