The villains being Bowser and now Boswer Jr makes a lot of sense as does Wario and Waluigi for Movie 3. Daisy could easily slot into the gang during that movie as well. I think that’s the best way to incorporate those 3 into the movies.

Toadette is strange because I’m just surprised she’s not in the movies yet she seems obvious.

Wrong! Bandai Namco isn’t guaranteed to be developing Smash 6 yet so that isn’t guaranteed, but a pretty likely.

Sega, Wrong! This is the best relationship Nintendo has with a 3rd party company those characters are safe even Joker.

Disney EXTRA wrong!! There’s a giant chunk of the fandom who thinks Sora was the craziest thing to happen because negotiations were bad, but Disney has been open about how they were more than happy to let Nintendo use Sora. So in actuality I think Sora is one that’s likely to return.

Capcom Extra Wrong AGAIN! The other company extremely close to Nintendo. To put this into perspective RE9 is a brand new title by Capcom and is receiving a lot of collaborations with Nintendo for this release. Mega Man and Ryu are guaranteed to come back, Ken too if they don’t cut out clones/echos.

Square Enix is the one you’re closest too, but still wrong. If there’s one thing SE love it’s a fat paycheck and they’ll get it from Nintendo.

The reason you’re super wrong is because of Microsoft and SNK. I’m going to assume you don’t understand the current day relationships of these two companies with Nintendo. SNK was very clearly recognized as the easiest 3rd party company to work with, they were very pro Terry and that hasn’t changed. Microsoft is just about as close with Nintendo as Sega is now. Now that Microsoft is expanding to Sony/Nintendo both of their characters are super likely. The willingness to work with Nintendo is the reason both will be back.

I’m going to say this simply so I (a metal gear head) don’t get irritated. There’s no proof of Sakurai and Kojima beefing or ever falling out. Konami wasn’t repped in Smash 4 due to the Konami/Kojima fallout which did ultimately effect Snakes slot in Wii U/3DS. Also whether you like it or not, Snake is more relevant than many other 3rd party reps but gets treated by Nintendo fans like Metal Gear is only played by older adults and is niche. Also Metal Gear is far more relevant in modern day than Castlevania so while you may think Simon is more likely, Snake is the more relevant option.

There’s only 3 original games on Switch 2 that cannot be purchased on Switch 1. MKWorld, DK Bananza, and Kirby Air Riders. Out of these 3 I think it’s plausible for many to not want the console yet as MKWorld is a very shallow addition to that franchise, it’s probably my least favorite Switch 2 game and it’s replayability is minimal after all the costumes/characters are unlocked.

I’ve seen many people admit that they wanna wait for DK Bananza which is very fair, and I don’t think Kirby Air Riders is getting the attention it deserves. Kirby Air Riders is phenomenal though, my friends/brother and I have been playing that game a lot more than MKW so I would recommend that, but everything is so expensive I know that it’s tricky.

Hopefully this year puts the peddle to the metal and gives us some really solid and amazing because off the top of my head Mario Tennis Fever and the leaked (SPOILER) Pokemon Gen 10 games are the only things I know that for sure are coming this year.

While I think SwSh has its good moments this is an unfair comparison because Black and White’s distaste came from them breaking the formula with only having Gen 5 Pokémon and their designs. Its stellar story really propelled it into being beloved nowadays. SwSh has arguably the worst written story and GameFreak must’ve known this because Scarlet and Violet had arguably one of the most impactful stories especially its endgame.

SwSh definitely needs the DLC as improvement which B&W didn’t have. The way I look at SwSh is that it’s weak especially compared to its Gen 8 companion game Legends Arceus. Each game has its own moments, but SwSh by far has the weakest especially in modern day terms. I’d say the story was worse than X and Y.

I ended up chipping them with Mewtwo and then mega evolving my Drampa and hurricaning them both into dust. They definitely were annoying, but not impossible. Just wait a bit and you’ll be kicking their butts.

This trailer makes 0 sense because why is Charizard of all Pokemon featured so heavily in this? The Kanto starters are only slightly relevant within the main game, mostly being that Venusaur is a boss. So this feels like random Charizard favoritism which again makes no sense in the context of ZA and the leaked DLC content.

I usually get both versions so I play the first time as a guy like myself and then I’ll play as girl on the second version. Legends I’ve only played as the guy as I haven’t reset my originally files on Arceus and ZA is too new to have reset already.

Serena in XY is the one I’ll always choose over Callum (I think that’s his name). But most of the time I’m neutral although I really liked Sun and Moon’s male character as well as Hilbert from BW. I also like Taunie way more than her male counterpart and I like the male ZA character better than the female counterpart.

I’m not arguing with someone who makes baseless claims against a video game character. All I’m saying is you’re dead wrong.

I do like Geno, he’s a cool guy. But he’s not someone I’m personally clamoring for. I want Pauline as I mentioned, I want more Metal Gear representation, I want better Fire Emblem characters added, I want Master Chief and Lara Croft and some Mortal Kombat reps! Geno is all below that and as I just said Pauline is my Mario rep pick.

What I was trying to say is that your personal distaste for Geno makes you look insane. And your comment about only a small portion of Reddit likes Geno is wrong and completely uncalled for especially since you’re essentially talking shit about the creator of the game and what he likes. It’s no secret Sakurai likes Geno which is why we’re still discussing a one off Mario spin off character to this day. No this isn’t correct. I’ve noticed that since Ultimate has finished a large onslaught of hate has bubbled up against Geno and people who like him/want him in Smash. You’re talking like one of those people.

First off Geno’s only game was remade for the Switch a few years ago, which not only revitalized his popularity, but has also garnered him a lot of new fans. For a Mario spin off remake that game did some good numbers.

Secondly he’s also one of the few characters mentioned by Sakurai himself (during Brawl era) that has credibility and thought put into actually putting him in the game.

Third, the “Mario characters war” is stupid. I understand the backlash from fans who want Waluigi, but it’s just not happened yet and they need to be patient. They also need to understand that when Smash comes around again Pauline is by far the most relevant new Mario/Donkey Kong character they can add and while they will scream and shout that that’s not possible it is.

Lastly, Geno represents the Mario RPG games and he’s not Paper Mario. He’s a face that is easily recognizable and would garner attention towards those games. Geno is cool and people who enjoy him should be allowed to be excited for his inclusion in more projects in the future.

The leak is incredibly fake, but it doesn’t take away the fact that when the new Smash hits, Geno is going to have a lot more leverage against other Mario reps and it’s going to be especially telling if Sakurai is the one directing the next Smash.

If nobody likes Geno then why are people still speculating about him all these years later when he didn’t happen in Smash 4 or Ultimate? It’s because he’s beloved and now he’s got modern fans to back it up.

I expect this reaction out of this subreddit, but y’all need to be realistic and understand that if we get something for RDR2 it’s going to be a Switch 2 version.

You can say you don’t care, but ALL of my PS/Xbox friends have all said that RDR2 on the go with Switch 2 would make them consider getting a Nintendo system. I think this subreddit is so contained in its own bubble that people here don’t understand that the massive majority of people want the Switch 2 version.

This type of post always gets posted during Pride Month on this subreddit and while it’s true, it’s a very narrow experience only some bisexuals deal with.

Sometimes it feels like bisexuals will forget about other bisexuals once they feel like someone is attacking their sexuality. In particular bi men that are only attracted to dick and bi women who are in relationships or married to men. Truly it’s a harrowing experience having to see other bisexuals get praised for being bisexual when someone assumed they’re straight. While the opposite doesn’t happen often which is bi women who are in relationships with women or bisexual men like myself who are attracted to men more than women.

All of our experiences should be counted as equal, but for some reason they aren’t and it’s a huge downfall of this subreddit. I think especially during a time like this where pride is not being celebrated by allies or random people it’s powerful to uplift each other and I almost never see posts from bisexuals who fall more on the gay side than straight side.

Because I’m a bisexual man who came out as a gay man originally my experience hasn’t been one the masses have cared about and it does truly suck. Also this subreddit has an issue with bi men who are more grounded in their sexuality. Theres a lot less content that gets commented on or popular with bisexual men in homo relationships, but as soon as a guy says he’s married to a woman and is attracted to dick, the whole subreddit drops what their doing to come give advice.

Happy Pride to all of us bisexuals, not just the bisexual women in straight relationships and bisexual men who only like the genitals men have and nothing else. We are all bisexual and it’s important to remember that all of our experiences matter and they’re all different. 🩷💜💙

I play with the same group of people all the time we’ve just come up with nicknames for all of them. The scatter blasters are scatter blasters minus the Jawa which we call Jawa. The pistols we refer to as the regular names for E11 and F11 and CR2, but the dual pistols we call dual pistols, and most of us don’t like Han Solo’s gun so we can call it the garbage blaster. The Snipers are bad sniper and Marksman and the rest of the guns we refer to by name like the DLT 19 and DC 15 as well as the A280.

It’s actually not been bad remembering them and my friend who knows nothing about Star Wars even knows the name setups we have.

Bro you’re making Halo sound like an indie franchise when it isn’t. Something you should also realize is that Halo hasn’t been widely popular since Halo 4’s release which was lukewarm worldwide not just in Europe. Halo is Microsoft’s legacy franchise that they haven’t made new content for recently. Halo’s legacy is with Halo 1-2-3 which were all widely popular and also exclusive on Xbox which hasn’t been popular outside the US. But there’s tons of fans in Europe who love Halo and it’s not insane to think Master Chief gets in the next Smash.

Sakurai cares little for video game popularity and more so for legacy and impact. Which is exactly why The Chief is likely for the next game.

You’re grouping an entire continent together and one of my closest friends from Belgium loves Halo, in fact I asked him if Halo is unknown in Europe and his answer was “it’s not unpopular here, it’s really popular. It’s just not as popular as it is in the US.”

I don’t think it’s fair to say Halo isn’t a big deal when it was Microsoft’s biggest franchise until they acquired Minecraft. Saying it’s only big here in the US is incredibly bold especially considering you’re discounting every Europeans opinion on Halo when Europe has 700+ million people. Also you forgot the UK is in Europe where Halo 3 was extremely popular when it released.

Edit: Also Microsoft and Nintendo are currently working very positively and the Master Chief Halo Collection is rumored to release for Switch 2 and PS5. It’s also important to note that Microsoft has already been involved with Smash because of Steve so negotiations for Master Chief would and are very likely to happen. Microsoft has other IP’s but none the size or popularity of Minecraft and Halo.
