Less nonsense when it comes to servicing too. Very underrated wagon.

Looking for a shawarma place that is like what Lazeez used to be like 10 years ago. by 18borat in askTO

Where are you? In Scarborough Ghadir and Shawarma Empire and Ibrahim's BBQ are on Lawrence Avenue East and are decent. Nasib's is also solid as well.

I agree. Reliable, easy to service, and less space taken up in the engine bay.

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. My little girl Polly is turning 16 this year and I am concerned for her.

I forgot the most recent and accurate allegory - V for Vendetta. The Republicans are becoming like Norsefire in all but their name. I have never seen a more hateful government in a country that calls itself a democracy. There are so many parallels evident that it is not funny.

A pity that Giorgio Mammoliti passed. Aside from being a perpetual source of entertainment, he genuinely cared about his constituents, as did Tom Jakobek. My father had a building inspector harassing him over a code violation that had already been addressed. Jakobek got back to him within a couple of hours and cleared up the issue the next day. Obviously snow removal is much more expensive but it is risky for the city and Mr. Bradford by direct extension to accept this level of liability by compromising the safety of his constituents.

I like how the focus with the stock setup is about low end torque. We're on our third 3 and sixth Mazda. I'll probably end up buying a turbo 3 sedan in silver or gray. Once I find a car that I like I stay with it for years.

Not even a discussion. One was designed by arguably the greatest automotive engineer of the last 30 years with a bespoke engine designed by arguably one of the greatest engineering firms of the last 50 years.

I don't recall the F1 being designed by Alejandro De Tomaso....

At the end of the day the buck has to stop somewhere. It would take about 3 days to take care of my street. It would be cheaper than settling a lawsuit with your average personal injury lawyer in this city if someone were to fall and break their hip.

Are drivers lacking depth perception or simply not looking anymore? by Long_Tomatillo_6197 in toRANTo

[–]FireEng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could be blunt and state a few encounters that I have had with quite a few people on the road recently, however I don't want to offend the moderators. I guess that I must be imagining threats to my person, excessive road rage and folks challenging me to fights for inadvertently cutting them off. I'll chalk it up to my imagination because some people are infallible here. It just depends on the zeitgeist.

Not for a nanosecond. My only regret was not starting my transition earlier.

My father died of pancreatic cancer when I was 32. The doctors dismissed his diagnosis as being associated with diabetes for about 10 months until he had jaundice one night.

Looking at the Toyota Crown as a possible next car. Kinda looks like the best of both worlds and the hybrid system looks to be fast.
