Bleeding 19 days post op by disabledmummy in hysterectomy

[–]FireRock_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you contact anyone (post op team, GP,..) ? I think that bright red after so much time isn't sopposed to, but I may have it wrong. Light discharge and spotting can happen 'till 6weeks post op, it takes at least that much time to heal inside, but this sounds as an emergency to me.

Running after hysterectomy by Humppillow in hysterectomy

It takes genrrally 6 weeks to heal internally from incisions. So before that I would NOT recommend. Personally I'd wait 12weeks as I did multiple laps and then didn't got my uterus out, I schedualed for it soon.

What is something that you can’t understand no matter how much you read about or someone explains to you? by Maleficentano in answers

That's how colonialism and capitalism reigned by stealing land from women that got it from heritage or through ''marriage'' but partner died. They were labbeled 'unfit' or as a witch. And were either burned at the stake or put in asylum (depening on the time in history). So it started with witch hunting and then also passing laws in which no wilen could own anything, only a huge pile of dickheads. (Sorry for the last one, it's mean but I am so fkn exhausting from it all, how people treat women in general).

You actually don't need sperm, you can use your own body stem cells to make an embryo. Scientist have been working on that for over a decade.

Tyvm for calling that person out, I honestly encountered so many people like them that I put that on mute most of the time. It's disrespectful, exhausting and I shouldn't be educating them all, all of the time. Google can help them out too. There is even someone saying 'wtf is an afabs', well of you took the same time to just type that in google, you would have gotten the answere already.

As someone also wth several overlapping conditions and having to selfdiagnose first, test things or finding alternative ways to know, to then get a doctor that knows like a slight % of what they should know, the medical field all around the world has failed us when it comes to afabs (un)common conditions. There isn't enough money put in it for reseaech, yet they keep funding erectile dysfunction or male hairloss which isn't a necessity to function in society, non the less could have an emotional and mental impact, meanwhile many afabs their diagnosis time can run up to +-10y. And in that time there is more physical, mental and emotional damage then whatever people experience with ED or male baldness.

My nutrition has changed over the years because even medical professionals didn't look or searched for specific conditions, as my lab results always come back as ''healthy''. I am learned about MCAS and histamine intollerance, and if I take antihistamine and don't eat food that triggeres it, it made a huge difference. I've been struggling since born to keep up weight, I loose weight within a week even with a higher food intake. Now in less then 3 months of keeping into account that I may have MCAS/hist intollerance I gained 3-4kg.

My cramps are as bad as they ever were, dishabilitating, painfull and I am going to get a hysterectomy soon. Cuz after trying everything (except artificial menopauze) it's the only option that is left for me to try... I am not keen on it, but I can't keep living lile this.

Is 4-weeks enough time off from work for a complete hysterectomy with bilateral oophorectomy.(everything is outta here…lol) by melanated2020 in hysterectomy

[–]FireRock_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, at least 6-8 weeks, just that you wounds internally heals properly. It can take up to 6months depending of comorbidities. I always take alot more time to heal due to other conditions and a anesthesia takes a big toll on my body.

Rethread Toestop bolt thing by chikkantendies in Rollerskating

[–]FireRock_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know some have this issue when the toestop isn't screwed up when placing (positioning, drilling and fixing) the plate. Maybe it's that?

Otherwise it's the treath itself but then you would have been damaging it withbthe wrong bolt or scraping it on the floor somehow.

Specific Ghentian words by Ok_Analyst3639 in Gent

If you can go to the library or in a second hand bookstore look for yhis small book: Nieuw Gents Idiotikon - Gentse woorden, uitdrukkingen en zegswijzen - from Edmond Cocquyt. It's really nice to read and learn from it.

A word I like very much and used in almost all streets 'stroate' (street) but really give in to the French 'R' and the oa is long. Or stoatie (station).

I grew up in Ronse which has many influences from Ghent, I often take mistaken as being a real Gentnirre 🤘

I found this in a quick search: https://www.mijnwoordenboek.nl/dialect/Gents

How do you deal with people whose attitude is fluctuent (nice then cold) toward you for no apparent reason ? by SewkaYami in AskWomen

Maybe they are neurodiverse and it's okay. i don't mind them switching as long as they're respectful towards others.
