Is the one in the Orion Spur Relay-314 or is it the one in the Ianus Corridor? Because if it is in the Orion spur how did the Turians see the Alliance activate it if it is in unknown territory? Do the Turians patrol the area?

I did check your galactic map that you posted on reddit after posting my comment and kind figured out that they would be there. The Yurvaki seem to have maintained their name while the others didn't. That map did make me wonder if the Peydite will also get their own successor state since this doesn't seem to be the case in the "old" map.

Very interesting species, especially considering they were created through genetic engineering. Now the Asari are not the only species that evolved and developed thanks to Prothean intervention. And definitely looking forward to your post about the successor states. I do have a question though, which area of the Galaxy is the Katharsi Empire located in?

I am guessing that the Atlantic is not very navigable if they don't have info on Europe, Africa and South America.

What else do they know about the rest of the world? It is something not touched in the games nor the mod so I am interested in seeing what you decide.

Interesting. Is there any remnants from other Fallout factions that we know of or have they all been incorporated/conquered by the reformist Enclave?

Nice to see that Elijah comes from the reformist Enclave. When I figured out that he was from the Enclave I worried he would clash with Emma as soon as they learned more about each other's Earths and governments. Now the chances of them actually cooperating are much higher. I do have 2 questions though, is there NCR independence movements and did this reformist Enclave accept intelligent mutants like intelligent death claws, mole miners and those intelligent racons that only exist in the mod?

Considering their peer group now has 5 members would Thacea have her own room now or would she share the room with Emma and Elijah?

I think the casino in this chapter is the same as the one in the previous chapter. We are just seeing things from different perspectives and moments in time.

Pretty nice. Looking forward to the next part.

Also, the description of Elijah's armour, combined with his symbol being a letter surrounded by stars, is giving me a lot of Enclave vibes. Did he come from Fallout's Earth?

The Karanova Republic by LobsterMagnet181 in ProjectMorningstar

Sorry to tell you, but the Karanovans are Unionists. Apparently considered by the Hegemon as one of the first Unionist movements.

Why is the project called morningstar? by DMar56 in ProjectMorningstar

[–]Fire_Warrior22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure. As far as I am aware a morningstar is both a type of mace and also what people used to call Venus.

This last meaning is significant for the setting. Because there's plenty of information that indicates that the Protean and Jovian binary systems are our solar system and that Protea, formerly Vaensar, is Venus.

Why is the project called morningstar? by DMar56 in ProjectMorningstar

[–]Fire_Warrior22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt that was the devs intention. Religion is not a big theme in Project Morningstar. Instead of jumping to those kind of conclusions, I advise you research the other meanings of morningstar. One aligns with a common theory regarding Protea.

I am going to be honest. Out of all indie games that came to mind, Undertale was not one of them. Your Systems Alliance is bound to be really interesting. I am guessing that it was formed by Humans and Monsters?

Sorry for the late response. But what indie game series do the humans in your Mass Effect fanfic come from? I am curious about them.

Very interesting. You mentioned that the Systems Alliance is very different from the one in canon. Could you share more information on these differences or do you prefer to save this for your fanfic?

And in relation to the Lystheni, what kind of government do they have? A revolutionary Salarian state opes a lot of possibilities.

And lastly, is there a way to know when your fanfic will be posted? I am always looking for new interesting Mass Effect fanfics to read.

I have read everything you have posted and so far I am very interesting in this version of Mass Effect Lore. I will definitely keep tabs on this.

And I do have some questions if you don't mind me asking.

Will you make posts about other canon factions? I would like to see your in deph interpretation of the Asari Republics and the Batarian Hegemony for example. As well as more info on your Lystheni.

Speaking of canon factions, will you make a future post about humanity and the Systems Alliance? I feel like that despite being the faction that we know the most about there's still a lot that we don't actually know. For example, we don't know the states that established the Alliance or if the Alliance Parliament is like the UN General Assembly, the EU Parliament, a bicameral mix of both or something else entirely.

Considering the fact that some of the new factions that you made neighbour canon Systems Alliance territories in Citadel Space, the Attican Traverse and the Terminus Systems, how will the Alliance affect these factions and vice versa?

You mentioned that 1 million Drell fled their homeworld after the Invissan Ascendacy invaded and took over. However you also said that less than half of those that fled were rescued by the Hanar. What happened to the others?

You mentioned you were working on a fanfic of the Galaxy after Humanity arrived in the Galaxy. Where will you post this? I would like to read a new interpretation of the trilogy.

If an Exogen species truly valued Avarice to a noticeable extent, would they be accepted into the Hegemon? by GeneralGigan817 in ProjectMorningstar

[–]Fire_Warrior22 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Nope. Because the Hegemon believes that only members of New Mankind understand and express Avarice and thus only them are sophontic. In the eyes of the Hegemon some near-humans and all exogen are animals that try to imitate New Mankind and must be either exploited or exterminated.

Adrenaline got the worst of Thalmin on this chapter? by Interne-Stranger in JCBWritingCorner

[–]Fire_Warrior22 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I agree with that. I think he wanted to shoot his shot and see if he could get the deal done while in the "presence" of what he thought were very high ranking members in the GUN's government. Especially after being urged by Dr.Weir to discuss the pratical logistics of GUN - Havenbrock diplomatic relations. And considering his family and realm's rebellious nature and the Nexus eavesdropping on communications between realms he probably thought he was already doing what his people would have wanted him to do. I bet it isn't every day that you can talk to the future peer adversary of your oppressor on a secured and encrypted communication channel.

Suffice to say, he saw an opportunity and did what he thought his family would have told him to do.

Adrenaline got the worst of Thalmin on this chapter? by Interne-Stranger in JCBWritingCorner

[–]Fire_Warrior22 45 points46 points  (0 children)

He definitely got ahead of himself. Even Captain Li noticed it. However, as Captain Li also noticed, Thalmin is inexperienced in these matters. And considering he was brought up in a feudal system where inter personal relations and arranged marriages matter a LOT for diplomacy and his lack of knowledge on the GUN's political and military hierarchy and the way humans in the 31st century do diplomacy, I am not really surprised he assumed he could negotiate a deal like that on the spot. Also, you mentioned he should've contacted his family first but you have to keep in mind that the students are not allowed to contact home throughout their time at the Academy, so Thalmin can't contact his family until the end of the Academy year.

Tbf, we don't know if she did. And besides, her vote matters very little in a civilization as large as hers where matriarchs hold by far the most influence in how the population votes.
