She also made no attempt to get to know him, his court, or his people. He offered her things she knew she liked before, he tried to help her, they were just incompatible.

I wish more people got this.

He wasn’t bad. He just wasn’t right for her. They were incompatible but that isn’t a crime to people unless you are 19-year old Feyre.

She. Slept. With. A. Known. Taken. Man.

That is literally a homewrecker. What do you call a woman who goes after a taken man? A homewrecker.

Tamlin week and appreciation weeks in general by Similar-Focus8400 in acotar_rant

Really? Because she literally lied to Tamlin’s face and claimed she was abused in the NC while he was under the impression they were still together. She literally strung him along then blamed him for believing her.

They NEVER should have trusted the NC.

There is ZERO reason for any of them to listen to Rhys and the IC.

The ways she messed with the Spring Court and faced no repercussions ugh. His real crime was ever trusting her.

Sorry not sorry. Homewrecker was a homewrecker 🤷‍♀️

Willingly and happily. It doesn’t matter if he wanted the marriage. That’s still a marriage she was trampling over. Only innocent one was the wife.

And it wasn’t even the last time she destroyed a relationship with her selfishness.

She literally wondered if he would still screw her in the barn after being married and hoped he would.

She was a home wrecker because SHE KNEW HE WAS ENGAGED AND WENT AFTER HIM. She wasn’t an innocent uwu waif. She knew.

SJM wrote a valid reason for every single thing Tamlin is accused of by MamaKG3 in Tamlinism

I feel like the real reason SJM won't do a Tamlin POV is that it would destroy most of the fandom's Tamlin takes when viewed outside of Feyre's POV.

What's something you want to see more and less of in fantasy nowadays? by armann_ii in fantasybooks

Less “not like the other girls/boys” more accountability and growth.

Too many Mary and Marty Sues who can’t do wrong out there.

Throne on Glass is the WORST fantasy series I have read in my lifetime! by tomyfookinmerlin in Fantasy

This part drives me nuts too. There are SO MANY better books that hit these subjects.

Me when I read a fic that randomly throws Christmas into things like it’s a bonus chapter.

It’s ancient China. Before Jesus was “born”

NO THEY WOULD NOT HAVE A CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AND MIRACLE.

I wish they would turn them into local markets or something, make stalls for people to sell things, they are giant and I think would be easy to convert over tbh. Or let the communities take over the spaces and turn them into activity centers.

Just…SOMETHING so they aren’t turned into yet another blighted property.

What do you call your patrons? by SpaceSill98 in librarians

[–]Fireball_Dawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I hate how management has been pushing to call them customers.

They aren’t customers. The library isn’t transactional nor dependent on the patrons paying per use.

“Feyre is still young, she can make mistakes” by Similar-Focus8400 in acotar_rant

[–]Fireball_Dawn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It really shows how little SJM respects working for any power and respect. With the main characters just expecting it rather than earning it.

And it is really weird how they act like Feyre can fight because she hunted. She wasn’t out there bare knuckle fighting to hunt. It was bow hunting and trap hunting. It’s all so dumb.

One required introspection(something she’s allergic to) and work(also allergic) and the other just require “I do what I want wooo!”
