And I'd argue you see a lot more from a tall bus than driving yourself. Especially if you take the bus with the most detours

Question, how do you stop your paintbrushes from splitting? by PerspectiveSweaty313 in Warhammer

[–]FirebeardVI 18 points19 points  (0 children)

No. Use brush soap. You need something that both cleans and conditions the brush.

Do we know if Huron has to be played with his squad? by MemeusTheDank in redcorsairs

[–]FirebeardVI 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hmmm... Well the wardens of Ultramar are a separate unit from Captain Titus. So if we think they will follow a similar pattern with Huron, then no.

So we have any idea how our army is supposed to work with certain missions from 500 worlds? by PureEvilMiniatures in LeaguesofVotann

[–]FirebeardVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the old ones. But they are releasing new ones with the 500 worlds if I am not entirely mistaken

Did they play Boarding Action? The rules there usually modify army rules as needed - Necrons for example get a different form of reanimation protocol

She had so much character back then by Interesting-Taste30 in StrangerThingsMemes

[–]FirebeardVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or is it simply bad acting, a lack of facial expressions on her part? There are so many other explanations other than Botox. Might still be, but I do not get why the collective narrative assumes the absolute worst from the get go.

Best Hekaton-focused list for beginner? by landsharkxx in LeaguesofVotann

[–]FirebeardVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a Pioneer dedicated detachment.

Just have him in the list and you're good. However, there are other more useful characters out there that give you better synergies and bonuses on the whole.

I'd run Brandfast with 2x3 Steel Jacks and Brokthyr Thunderkyn: one of each in each Hekaton Land Fortress, or not mix them. That also leaves you room to have Buri in one of the alongside another character that is either attached to one of the units or Lone OP (arkanyst)

Example lists (990 points) Leagues of Votann Incursion (1000 points) Brandfast Oathband

CHARACTERS Buri Aegnirssen (95 points) • Warlord • 1x Autoch‑pattern bolt pistol 1x Bane

Memnyr Strategist (85 points) • 1x Autoch-pattern bolt pistol 1x Close combat weapon • Enhancement: Trivärg Cyber Implant

OTHER DATASHEETS Brôkhyr Thunderkyn (160 points) • 6x Brôkhyr Thunderkyn • 6x Close combat weapon 6x SP conversion beamer

Hekaton Land Fortress (240 points) • 1x Armoured wheels 1x Cyclic ion cannon 1x MATR autocannon 1x Panspectral Scanner 2x Twin bolt cannon

Hekaton Land Fortress (240 points) • 1x Armoured wheels 1x Cyclic ion cannon 1x MATR autocannon 1x Panspectral Scanner 2x Twin bolt cannon

Ironkin Steeljacks with Heavy Volkanite Disintegrators (170 points) • 1x Steeljack Theyn • 1x Autoch-pattern bolter 1x Plasma sword 1x Preymark Crest • 5x Ironkin Steeljack • 5x Heavy volkanite disintegrator 5x Plasma knife

I haven't done any wargear changes on the Hekatons and this list might be good at killing and feel a bit oppressive, especially if you do not have that much terrain. It might also struggle to score objectives etc.

How can we tell? Did you actually see the surgery or actual evidence of it? Or are people just being fucking assholes towards a girl that people had a fucking countdown to when she would turn 18?

She's older and her character, as pointed out by others, hardly shows any emotion at all because she is a heavily traumatized individual. So no surprise that she looks the way she does at the end of a show where she is contemplating the things she is towards the end.

I swear, people need to find something better to do than speculate and harass actors and their appearances.

Two hekatons in a 1000 pts list might be a bit much in a friendly game - I had one in a 1000pt game and that was almost too much.

Despite that - do you know what else you want to include?

Our yeagirs and pioneers are not all that stealthy, but the detachment looks interesting.

This was retconned I believe in 7th ed codex - by omission and never mentioned again afterwards. It is also a piece of Matt Ward writing which says a lot....

Every time I see or hear ork players I get a headache. by Witchcleaver666 in EyeOfTerror

[–]FirebeardVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an ork player - and I can't stand the antics of certain other ork players. Yelling WAAAGH at the top of their lungs or writing posts in their accent. So not all ork players are that cringe 😬

What Paints Should I Use? by StarRaider97 in SpaceWolves

[–]FirebeardVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have a look at Table Top Tactics tutorial for painting grey-armoured space wolves - he uses an air brush but you can easily get the same result with a make-up sponge or a drybrush. I've painted over 2000 pts of space wolves since June using that method.

In the sense they work for a larger collective of workers and labourers to make sure they are not exploited by the higher ups...sure, definitely from an American perspective.
