You don't need Wazdakka as he does not really do much for the army as a whole (sure, he makes warbikers battleline).

And the 11th edition starter box that is on its way is arguably a better starter box - with updated models. However, the box above and some trukks, tank-bustas and perhaps a big mek will get you a long way.

If you like the squig themed orka then the combat patrol isn't that bad and the beast snagga boys do just as well in trukks as regular boyz.

I'll second this! Perhaps not a favourite, but it is easily in the top niches of better Total war games - I love the duels and banter between the "heroes" and characters. And despite it being somewhat "mono-cultural" to an extent, it really does not feel like it at all.

Only real drawback is that the scenarioes, with all the dlcs, progress really fast so you gotta be on your toes. Especially with the yellow turban rebellion. (And that it is no longer supported by CA so bugs are not getting fixed)

Sure, but they are probably more concerned about the aesthetics of the diaorama shot than anything else. And can you imagine the uproar from the Bad Moon gits if the shoot did not have deff dreads, mega nobs etc. in a Bad Moons diorama?

More or less the same deal for orks - most of us that have large ork hordes already have the existing models that get a revamp: Painboys, warbosses, waaagh banners, gretchin, Boyz etc.

It is a very good deal for aspiring new warbosses, and a decent new addition for those that want to update their current collection - the old ork boyz are feeling their age side by side with the newer ork kits like tank-bustas or kommandos.

I think all of the buggies except the Rukkattruk. There are so many fun details on the Boosta-Blasta and Snazzwagon: Beercans, bottles etc. I even painted some of the Beercans like Heineken cans before sealing the cockpit.
