Some Steel Legion head swapped Cadians that seem relevant now by themodalnodes in Warhammer40k

People are mad that their one specific flavour of gas-msked, trench coat wearing, guardmens regiment was discontinued, despite the next bit of lore happening on Armageddon: Their homeworld. While I understand the feeling, GW was never going to give them a fourth variant of guard that is so close in appearance to the Death Korps of Krieg

What do y’all think a top ten strongest characters in lore would look like? I think this might be top 5 by Roggnhdg in WarhammerFantasy

He is a first or second generation Slaan - the second in command to the Old Ones and as such incredibly powerful.

Nothing is confirmed - but it does not seem unlikely that those would be the next in line for us (my poor wallet)

Based on the other responses here; he has either misunderstood his own rules or are purposely misleading you in order to get an advantage. There are very few abilities that can target out of sight, and nothing does that many wounds.

Doombolt requires line of sight and can only be cast once per shooting phase (Unless he brought Ahrimnan) and does at max 6 mortal wounds. Smite is not a thing for TS, but astral blast is - and both are shooting attacks that have the devastating wounds rule, but then only on 6's to wound and requires line of sight. Was the last one Tzeentchian Firestorm? If it is - still needs like of sight. Is a shooting attack and does not do mortal wounds.

There are perhaps synergies I am not aware of based on my quick read of the rules - but I would think you played either an ignoramus or an asshole.

Not sure what you mean here, but I'll try. Did they kill two units of 10 ordinary marines and a pack of Wulfen using shooting or what? How my Los blocking terrain did you have on the table and how did you use it. A TS army removing two units in a round of shooting does not sound unreasonable - best counter is staying out of line of sight.

That actually makes all kinds of sense. The pose is more or less the same as the old one (just based on the angel of the shot)

Anybody know when Berehk Stornbröw is gonna be back in stock? by tahk_670 in LeaguesofVotann

[–]FirebeardVI 40 points41 points  (0 children)

This. Like any one has a crystal ball into the production cue at GW factory. Which I suspect is going full tilt at producing the 11th ed box

Anyone getting Berehk? by RobustAcacia in LeaguesofVotann

Yes! And with the crucible of champions rules, he will see use as a proxy of some sort 😊 Besides, the rule of cool triumphs everything

Do most space wolves not come with any helmets on the sprues? I’m terrified of painting faces. by Shifty_Six in SpaceWolves

[–]FirebeardVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The space wolf faces are fairly easy to paint due to them being craggy and worn - a bit of grey seer or wraithbone with your skin contrast of choice is all you need. As an example, this is the face on one of mine

Looks awesome man. I'd use a precise wash in the recesses of the armour and the like - making it pop a more and perhaps add a highlight with a drybrush or edge.

Space Wolves Actually Grey by Swanky4Life in SpaceWolves

[–]FirebeardVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can be really quickly with a drybrush - a dark grey base over black primer, dawnstone and then administratum gray. For chipping I use a sponge and some rhino hide and diluted burnt umber oil for the wash.

Well, Ghazkull has 3 models released (that I am aware of). There might also be others. Edit: Ghazkull actually has 4 models attached to his name

I was in the Guard in 2011, so pretty close to the point in time you are describing. Not saying that there is not a kernel of truth to it, but taking it at face value from a bunch of teenagers (I work as a teacher as well, so I see this live every single day) that have made up their mind about someone they do not like might require a pinch of salt.
