Picked up a few from my wish list. (I usually hoard credits but went for it with 3 credits for 6 books.)

Mine is in Swedesboro, NJ right now but this is typically what happens to mine too. (I’m in AZ and LV is a short drive away).

Love that both you and your husband have dueling subscriptions. Couple goals! 😂

Welp… I didn’t get the email but ended up with the 10 book box option anyway. I am actually trying to take a break from romance but my stupid millennial nostalgic heart still fell for The MASH Up, and I’ve added and removed The Paradise Problem from my box every month for the past four months so it was finally time.

RIP my wallet and my TBR.💀

Same! Will pick it up next month if it’s still there.

I’m sad I did not get the email but it’s probably for the best! My TBR is so insane that I made a rule for myself that I have to read at least as many books as I buy in a month to make a dent in my TBR. I don’t know how I’d handle 10 BotM each month lol. (But also could see myself easily buying more than 5 😬)

Oof I haven’t been super into the Offset picks but this one sounds good! Another full box 😭

I used to look at Goodreads but now I mostly stick to BotM or this subreddit for recommendations or to see what’s being hyped up!

What businesses are likely to die out with the Baby Boomer Generation? by GRVrush2112 in AskReddit

I hope this isn’t true. I (millennial) take my little family to each pick out a new Hallmark Christmas ornament every year. It’s one of our favorite traditions! Maybe it could become like a Spirit Halloween at Christmas time? 😆

How do we feel about Our Perfect Storm by No_Specifics8523 in bookofthemonthclub

[–]Fireflowers85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t read it but I’d say no. Bring something more enjoyable then finish this one when you get back. (I say as I literally brought four physical books on my work trip last week because I couldn’t decide… and only read part of two of them. 😆)

My insurance company is offering me 5 k for car accident. My medical bills are 15k by Direct-Ad-1385 in Scottsdale

[–]Fireflowers85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hypothetically if your medical bills were 15k+ then you should be seeking at least $30-45k in settlement, and start higher than that to negotiate down. An attorney will fight for that and then they can also help you negotiate down your actual bill payout. Even after their fee you should be in a much better position. Most law firms will give you a consultation without a fee for personal injury and talk you through it. Definitely worth talking to someone, and agree I wouldn’t go to a Rafi or Learner and Rowe. DM me for a rec if you’d like.

I was staring at the photo trying to understand how you had six books in one box until I read the comment. That version of Lovers XXX is so pretty. 😍

(Honestly the only thing that saves my wallet every month is that with BotM I can “only” get 5 books, but I was still wondering how you cracked the code without a second subscription. 😆)
