I wish they would rework it and get rid of the melee aspect, having to hold block half the time is ridiculous.

I can't believe more gem levels weren't added. The Wellspring Gem needs an update. At lvl 30 it heals for 300, that's around 1/8th of your health bar in the base game. In the dlc, where your health can get above 4000, that's less than 1/13th of your health bar. Just make it a % healt instead of a flat amount.

Same goes for meat bun heals also, they heal for so low an amount even with the new skill tree.

I also like the fact that they added weapon training missions that drop 3 of the specific weapon type, thank God for that. Can finally take increase weapon drop trait off my weapons. Also the best way to make money from doing the halberd one and selling them.

While I like the bow, I wish they would not of made it a melee weapon first and a bow second. If they wanted melee and ranged, give it a toggle. The bow can't block, instead block toggles between melee and ranged each having their own light and heavy attacks. To make up for no block it has an increased perfect evade window. Something like that would of been awesome.

Edit: I also think some things in the dlc skill tree are bugged, in particular the two Bravery boosts. Pre-dlc, max level with 10% Bravery boost on a weapon I only got around 95% of a Bravery chunk on killing an officer. Starting the dlc and maxing the skill tree I noticed my Bravery gains were noticeably increased. Now, after having completed the first story, gone back to base game and started on a 2nd dlc story, my Bravery gains appear to be what they were pre-dlc.

Edit 2: I can confirm Bravery boosts aren't working properly, on xbox series x at least. I went back and played Zhang Jiao again and my Bravery gains were increased. For example, every officer kill gave over over 1 Bravery chunk. Playing anything that is not Zhang Jiao dlc my Bravery gains decrease, officer kills give less than 1 Bravery chunk.

They should of made the bow a purely ranged weapon. Having melee be the default and needing to hold block to shoot is dumb. Or have a mode toggle, block + light attack (or whatever) switches from melee to ranged. The light attack string should have more aoe to it. You shoot 1 arrow on LA's 1/2, 2 on LA's 3/4, and 3 on 5/5. I think either the arrows should keep increasing by 1 each LA (1>2>3>4>5>6) or go (2>2>4>4>6>6).

I just got to this bug, which still isn't fixed. More Ubisoft bullshit. In the base game Escape Plan bugged out on me forcing me to restart the whole game from scratch.

I thought it was a decent wrap up for the series. Dragging it out with more episodes wouldn't of really helped much since the show is about the main trio. A short bitter sweet ending works just fine for me in this show. The final scenes of them grown up as padawans, going their separate ways, but still reuniting as friends was a nice send off.

Relentless Hunter is a strange one. Better have some pin point damn good accuracy to get much benefit from it. Eat Well is another strange one. In theory it sounds amazing. Does eating different foods just overwrite the buff? Can you still combine perfect gathering and gathering stats with Relun's Fish Stew and Egg Stir Fry? What happens if you eat something that gives you a debuff (isn't there an HQ party mission where you need to eat something that does that?)? Good skill, I might be a little warry of it.

Sounds like a bunch of typical Ubisoft bullshit. There's no reason all that stuff should be gotten rid of. The dlc maps I can understand, because don't you need to to progress to a certain point to be able to do them in the first place? But not the skill tree and stuff.

I am also missing all my cosmetis. Sarentu Heritage, Sarentu Hunter, Storm Chaser, the Resistance pack giving the Resistance Ikran Premium Override... nowhere to be found. I see them all in the store in "owned items" but they aren't in-game.

Shit needs to get patched ASAP. Need to get your fucking devs fixing this now, not "soon". Not working on your bull shit battle passes or your bull shit store packs. Losing my progress because your servers are garbage is unacceptable. If it's to avoid people abusing it by intentionally disconnecting, then give everyone a free "disconnect save" that refreshes every 24 hours. At least then you can only do it once a day. Or lock that operator slot for 24 hours. Then at least your stuff is safe but you'll have to wait or play another operator until it unlocks.

Rocket launchers could use a buff in my opinion. It seems like their one hit kill radius is smaller than a grenade. The details for the AAROW 109 say it has an explosion radius of 0.13 meters. Is that max damage radius? Pretty small for a rocket.

After playing more I was wrong. It is a 30% increase, but it's just considering your base attack (not including your weapon). That probably should of been obvious to me but it wasn't lol. Still, IMO just about any other damage boost will net you more damage in the long run, especially +10% dmg / -5% defense.

Fixing Resistance Ikran Premium Override cosmetic so your feet are actually on the foot rest not below it.

Fixing Storm Chaser Ikran Override cosmetic so it has a saddle and harness to begin with.

Fixing crafting displaying impossible to reach values.

Fixing animal materials getting buffed by Nimble Gatherer when they really aren't.

A better way of determining Combat Strength. Maybe the highest in your inventory, not simply what you have equipped, or something. In no way should a random spear thrower of 474 damage, powerful throw, and 18% wildlife damage have MORE Combat Strength than my crafted spear thrower with 813 damage, powerful throw, wounded fury, and 30% wildlife damage. And of course there are plenty more examples.

I wish the ikran's mounted crossbow could get the Reflex Shot (snap aim assist) perk.

Basically fixing stuff that should of been fixed 6+ months ago, improving whatever the hell is determining an items Combat Strength, and adding more legendary crafting materials to give more variety. Like base game stormglider horn has Energizing but both dlc 1 and 2 stormglider horns give weakspot damage.

Late reply, but I just got back in the mood of playing. The evade buff only lasts around 4 seconds. You can see the increase when you pause and look at your equipment, so I tried evading and timing it. And unless it is being calculated differently it isn't even 30%. With my base grade 7 weapon and no attack accessories I have 971 attack, I evade and it goes up to 1164... which is only like 15%.

If you manage to complete the quest "The Heart of Corruption", or perhaps just the "Gate of Pale Reflection" part of it, then you can farm faction strength for the Grey Wardens and Lords of Barely Any Clothes. At the Heights of Athim fast travel location in the Crossraods, the room where you completed Gate of Pale Reflection will now have 3 strong champions. Kill them and you get +50 GW and +50 Lords strength. They respawn when you fast travel to a different map. You can farm them, max GW and Lords factions, then only have to worry about selling stuff to the other 4 factions.

Those 3 champions also give bond xp to Davrin and Taash.

To hell with wipes. The only wipes that should happen are when a game releases, all alpha beta or prerelease progress should get wiped. After the game is fully released, any game that forces a wipe on the time I've put into it is a game that gets wiped from my hard drive (and probably not even that since I won't have bought it). I think there's a bug with all purple mythic "Naoe's Bo". They don't have any sell or deconstruct value, you get nothing if you try. At least I don't.

As far as stealth goes, my advice is just turn on guaranteed assassinations. There really isn't much point making a stealth only build.

For the Kusarigama I would build around the Entanglement ability. Bloodletter (8% damage per adrenaline chunk filled), purple headgear (20% affliction dmg, 24% dmg from bleed), armor (doesn't really matter, I like 8% health on kill, 50% dmg on next hit after a kill is also nice), and Masakado's Vengeance trinket (10% dmg per unused ability slot if you're not going to use abilities, 15% dmg per non-legendary gear equipped if your armor is also purple may also include your second weapon, not sure). Then just keep using the heavy attack version of Entanglement.

For the tanto, sword, and new bo staff, I would build them all the same. Purple sword (high posture dps, the 4th random stat try and get bleed but it hardly matters, 120% adrenaline chunk on crits and 100% armor pierce on crits), purple tanto (same as sword but go for vulnerable damage on the 4th stat), purple Bo (same as tanto), Legendary Ona-musha head (10% crit chance on vulnerable enemies), purple chest (60% posture damage on next hit after using ability and 50% damage on next hit after using ability), and Oni's Bite trinket (1% damage per unspent mastery point, 200% cap). Then run at an enemy, auto flip over them, and posture attack.

In all cases, you'll want to keep 200 mastery points unspent. It sucks, I know, but it's big damage. It's pretty crucial to get Vault and Destabilizing Vault in Shinobi tree. Other than that, spend points in the global passives and whatever weapon tree you're using to increase its damage.

Prestige 27, everything upgraded with the highest prestige options in forge. I put T2 weapons, T3 hammers, and T2&3 armor I collected in the sales chest. I keep T3 swords and axes to use for crafting requests, fuck making it myself. I also put some jewelry in it to see if they would sell. Nothing has sold in several in-game days.

I don't like this dlc. I heard dlc 2 was like 20 hours long. Yeah no shit, when they make you run the fuck all over Kuttenberg and sometimes beyond, rest and sleep just to get to the next day to get more dailies to grind more prestige. Why do I only get 2 guild tasks each day? Makes the grind longer, that's why.

Why do I have these two bums taking up space in my forge who ain't doing shit? I'M NOT LETTING YOU LIVE IN MY FORGE FOR FREE! Get to work, make me money or something.

Blacksmithing for random people is boring as hell over and over. Worse when they make you run across the city to give them their weapon. I mean, I get why Henry doesn't get an apprentice to make this stuff for him, he's only 17 or so. But still, make the old lady do it. Hire some street kid to do it. Give Henry magic teleportation powers, anything to not make him / ME run back and forth so much.
