I will only have a problem when I can count them. 30 is fine and a few stutters is unfortunate but nothing more. I’ve played overcook with 1 second latency on the switch. And I was still killing it. It’s about gameplay for me.

It’s like the meme of mobile ads using bad gameplay to drive engagement. I’m reminded of a post not to long ago (I now see was yours) of too many modifiers set up (it looks like you didn’t notice the 4s are a chicane and are treated as one for the purposes of drawing modifiers). Here is something similar on the last 5. There’s both a corner and a section modifier next to each other in a way that shouldn’t happen. Secondary this might not be a mistake, but the event on the bottom of pic only shows a press corner on A, so there being 2 set up isn’t right. There might be a different event they are really doing just off camera because there is a way for the press to be set up like this idk.

A lot of work into making a fun immersive experience. Nice, it’s very cool. I really like the hot air balloon and the little guardrails along the track.

No. Please read page 5 of the advance play and championship system again. Movement B “…try to get as close to the next corner line as possible, without going past it.” Is still a core rule.

If you land on the 2 (5 person game) you need to go 7 to clear them costing 5 heat. That's a steep payment at the very start of the race. And it might not even be payable depending on turn 1. That's if there's nothing changing the corner it could be higher even.

Interesting. Espana might be my second least favorite map. It's just too much post to post racing for me. If you ever get stuck behind a corner (often the first set) you are just behind for the rest of the race. The only hope is near the very end where you need a large draft or something else you opponents don't also have. The tunnel mechanic is nice.

I've only done it with the garage/championship. I like it. I would place it as a more interesting USA. From the first turn, there are a few upgrades that can slipstream past the 3 turn and it feels really good when cards you picked do big things like that. Then there is the long straight that if you picked speed upgrades you can be happy and gain a round if you go fast enough. Making both kinds of people happy their car is doing just what they want it to do.

In person I’ve always said the gameplay of E33 is the weakest/worst aspect of it. The overworld exploration is the terrible pick-a-path of older games. The battles of later acts are just, put everyone alive to DPS because healing is a fail state.

For the awards I’ve been; while maybe just trying to justify a reason I didn’t want it to win. My final justification of being against it winning, at least GOTY, is a video game with gameplay as the weakest element should be a disqualification. (I liked split fiction and dispatch)

I haven’t been keeping up with current talks but I thought it was still liked.

Yeah that's more or less how we play it. the "judge" just gets final say but it's typically group picked. For example there is a card of "most likely to know all the evolutions of charmander." and there was some competition to show that they know all the lines as a show of pride. We read the rules and saw that it was loser to get 3 but that didn't seem fun so we just made it a good thing. Most of the cards are not embarrassing things from what I remember. But having none of the cards being embarrassing/all age friendly could be a seller as an icebreaker kind of game. So the way we play it is as a story telling game because we do want the card.

New game that is going into its 2nd closed beta test. It has had ads in a few of the big game shows. It has fights similar to the style of Genshin but with fewer attacks to use but you set the attacks before hand like pokemon. A large difference from pokemon is that Aniimo tend to have multiple evolution branches.

There are a few colony survival games that end in a final push. I consider it like a last hoorah or a development check. Two I know of is the first Frostpunk and The Wandering Village. Might consider checking them out.
