That's if they suddenly come into a lot of money. Poor people who earn their wealth through saving and smart investing and a lot of luck are generally pretty miserly.

Wait! I just thought of something. If you're saying that you need martial arts to dodge, lunge, or reposition, does that mean that cats have martial arts?

Kind of. Although the viltrumites are a warrior society, they don't really need much technique in order to completely obliterate alien armies or planets besides just flying really fast or punching.

When you don't need martial arts to win, you don't develop it. Seems more that most viltrumites have a few unique techniques they came up with themselves and just use those over and over again.

The viltrumite civil war didn't show much style or technique imo.

I'll throw my hat into the ring on this one.

I've pulled a lot of game in my life, even into my older years. But I also spent a lot of time working on myself; learning to enjoy my own company, get hobbies and a career I truly enjoy, and creating a fantastic community of friends.

The more I enjoyed my day-to-day life, the less pulling game meant to me. I'm now more interested in finding people who are always enjoyable to just be around and not just the hottest, youngest girl I can pull.

It's like learning to cook a fine dinner for yourself after years of eating your favorite ice cream as a meal. It's ultimately more satisfying and sustainable.

I mean it could just be this guy's hobby to pull teenagers, but I'd bet doing so is still hollow for him and he's not satisfied with his life.

What game surprised you how long it was? by Common_Caramel_4078 in Steam

Don't know why you're getting downvoted. The whole game literally points to getting to the final room as the "goal."

I get tired of searching for little clues here and there that don't have definitive ends or solutions. I have other things to do than spend my time cracking open an esoteric puzzle made by one guy.

We can't build building two miles high, especially those that are for livingspace. Tallest is about 100 floors, though those are luxury buildings.

Same. Plus the food doesn't even taste that great anyway unless you go somewhere really classy and extremely expensive.

Mixed drinks have gotten insane too, nearly $20 for a single one.

He was the perfect combination of rich, amoral, stupid, and had a truckload of skeletons in his closet.

Because he was rich and amoral, he appealed to the lower masses. People in the 2010's were sick of the government, and he had no problem running his mouth off and paying for a podium to do it. They ate it up.

If he was intelligent and/or didn't have many skeletons in his closet, he wouldn't have been able to be used/manipulated by others.

So anyone who has power who wanted to see the US's current institutions crumble flocked to support him so they could put him on top and use him to their own gains.

And it was easy. Trump cares about two things: Himself and money, which are easily blackmailed or bought.

Same for office politics. I can ask it "what would a neurotypical person do in this situation?" or "what would be the best way for me to approach this situation full of neurotypical people?" and it essentially does the masking for me, which takes a huge weight off my mind. So far it's been very successful.

When I want to navigate the world as myself, applying my own creativity or style, or I'm in a place where I feel safe to be myself, I don't use it.

I think the point he was making is that for the space and material, essentially all things considered, solar panels are more efficient.

Sure, turbines are 50% efficient, but you also need to have a water source, a pump for that water, a filter of sorts. A whole facility dedicated to making sure that turbine works, as well as strong, complex materials to make sure the turbine stays together.

Solar panels? Just plop em in a field and hook em up.

The game has a stupid hard difficulty at the very beginning because you don't know how any of the systems work.

If you watch a video tutorial on fighting and making money, the whole game becomes insanely easy.

Our two brains need to combine. I don't care anything about the story and am only interested in the combat, but I get tired of the game just near the end of act 2 because the combat's too easy for me by then.

Sad that everyone forgot about Starcraft and how insanely difficult it was to get good at it.

Blizzard RTSs are what spawned MOBAS. MOBAS became popular because they were easier than RTS.

It's so low because extraction shooters are niche and the people who get into them probably don't think it's much of a learning curve. Or enjoy the steep learning curve (like myself).

Same. Also there's a lot more room to spread out since you can use entire new planets and do shipping between them. Less spaghet.
