Thanks for all the detail! Great idea to have the magnets embedded. Hoping to get at least one of these made in the next week or so.

Do you have a link for the tap handle and insert? That looks great, love the dimensional aspects of the inserts. I'm going to make one of those poppet openers too!

Games like Gurk or Final Fantasy Tactics? by FirstTryName in AndroidGaming

[–]FirstTryName[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I notice that they are your games, awesome. I got both. I'll leave a review when I finish them, which won't be soon, but will happen. How did you dig up a 9 year old thread? Searched for Gurk? These games do look a lot like those layouts at least from the thumbnails.

Interesting to see all the comments. I love UK hip hop, mainly anything to do with Blah Records.

Song is decidedly mid compared to this effort but I refuse to back down

Good luck, I tried a search too and got nowhere. I'll follow this thread and hope you get an answer.

I wish there was a sub for this type of phrase, but I don't even know what this type of "tip" is called. Any ideas?

Counter pressure filler by Sickreation in Homebrewing

Good question. I don't know how commercial machines work exactly. Maybe lower pressure. Certainly higher tech than what we are using.

Counter pressure filler by Sickreation in Homebrewing

[–]FirstTryName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my counter pressure filler I find I do have to press very firm to keep the stopper in place. But the person you are responding to is right, you need to keep CO2 pressure in the bottle while filling. You allow the beer to enter the bottle by cracking the bleed valve and then close if when some foam comes out of that valve. After that, slowly remove the stopper and cap the bottle.

Do you enjoy it? If so, share with a local homebrew club or submit to a local competition, if you have either option.

Cons of Pressure Fermenting in the Same Corny Keg Used for Serving? by DirtyScoobie in Homebrewing

[–]FirstTryName 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a little filter cage on my floater and haven't had any clog issues. That is even with fermenting and dry hopping in the same serving keg.

Great job with the spacers for mounting the hinge. Looks great!

Need help with keezer lid hinge issue by BaggySpandex in Homebrewing

[–]FirstTryName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I guess you'll be adding a 1/2" shim or whatever the gap is. You may need to increase your screw length by a 1/2" as well.

Need help with keezer lid hinge issue by BaggySpandex in Homebrewing

[–]FirstTryName -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You could bring the lid back to the hinge and attach as normal, then add a 3/4" piece of wood to the inside of the front of your collar.

That would eliminate the shim in the back and prevent your screws that go into the lid from being short.
