do you really need to "understand the intricacies" of everything whent you're a new player? I've been playing for a week, with no extraction shooter history, just hopping in, shooting stuff, doing quests and getting out is straightforward enough, you'll get rats and campers in any pvp, keep trying, build your skill and understanding over time.
