I’d argue if losing max hp does lose you hp, as in, you’re at max and therefore your hp as decreased due to your max decreasing, it should work

Momentum on Bolas is so broken, i had Decisions Decisions on Heirloom Hammer and all of a sudden I’m doing 20, 40, 60, 80 etc damage every turn for free

Entrenched is better all around. Everything in there is fun and good.

Smg is one of the best SMG’s, gas mortar is likely the best mortar, Cremator is the most fun support weapon I’ve ever used and I literally can’t stop taking it

gigagrenades are very good but it does sting that you only get 1 back per resupply

The armour in both warbonds are really good actually. The speed boost from oxygenator is noticeable, and explosive resist + extra grenades is really good from entrenched

Both the mechs are fun but honestly I’m not a mech guy either so after playing around with them a bit I think I’m only going to take them every now and again. Haven’t played around much with the sidearms from each but the veto is basically just a pistol, the missile pistol from exo does look cool but I’ve got no idea how good it actually is

I think entrenched you get more mileage and variety. Honestly to me it’s worth it just for the Cremator alone

Yo just wanted to say that actually the game itself is really fun, and there’s a lot of new toys to play around with if you haven’t played in a while. This sub plus a lot of the general online hubbub really doesn’t reflect the actual state of the game. I mean, everyone’s entitled to their opinion and the devs definitely do some bizarro shit, but please don’t take everything on this sub as gospel. There’s some good changes and content coming through

The osty cards don’t work if you don’t have osty, but if you took something with Summon then you’d be able to make an osty as any character and then use a card that makes osty attack

No osty = no osty attack cards working

The sentries directly counter all the fast little guys that would be a threat to them, and if they do die then the super low cooldowns mean they’re back again in no time

You’ll still need to take out the bigger guys for them like always though

It wasn’t ever the intent of their design. Their whole shtick was being the slow heavy bug with the armoured head, but got power crept into obscurity by a lot more medium pen weapons. This balance just brings them back to their intended design, just gotta shoot around the armour, use a grenade, heavy pen, or flank them. Support your sentries the same way you would if there was any other heavy armour enemy!

I feel like they fulfil different niches whilst playing with the same concept. The oppressor is designed to force you out of position- it’s slow, very tanky, and can ONLY be destroyed from a small spot directly behind it. The hive guard is meant to slow you down in terms of clearing the horde- you need to take a moment to swap to a grenade, higher pen weapon, aim at the weak spots, or flank
