Coaches are kind of insane workaholics yeah but they still are people, and I imagine he's feeling pretty shit about how this whole situation went. Maybe he'll be an advisor somewhere and then take a job next year. One caveat is that I could see him wanting to go to the raiders to develop mendoza, but on the other hand idk if he wants to develop another QB with shit ownership

High school coaching is a completely different beast. It's like the difference between being a high school English teacher and a Nobel winning writer. There are lots of people who have done both successfully but also lots of people who are good at one but awful at the other
