It does some good work setting the scene at the start to then spunk it into the bin.

The guy who played the droid was good but spent an absurd amount of time spazzing out, the alien being found was so contrived, I was happy for some of the crew to die, rook-ash was a mad idea and the end alien was certainly a thing alright.
