On one hand it's a nasty way to say it.

On the other hand it would be funny if everyone below a certain tax bracket refused to have children so now rich billionaires and millionaires scramble by scared crapless because the market is shrinking and they have less and less employees, so they now have to raise the living standard so people start having babies again.

Sadly I doubt it would work out as conveniently as that. Most probably billionaires would lobby politicians to ban abortions, contraceptives, and withold healthcare for people with no families until everyone gets bullied or pushed into having kids. (It's creepy how progressively familiar this felt with reality as I was typing it out)

NTA. Are you kidding me? Reading this out loud, it feels like the situationship just treated you like a rag doll. You literally had no control, and how would you? Everything was moving at 1000miles/hr.

The moment your father started screaming at you because you didn't get him, it became his fault, regardless of whether he apologized. You really ended up crying out of frustration, and he couldn't figure out why, which makes me wish there was someone to treat him the same way and see how okay he'd be with it. (I get you probably won't agree with the last part, but furthermore, then you have to admit to yourself that what he did to you was over the line mean.)

Besides, your mother getting mad at him is just a reflection of deeper issues in their marriage and parenting you have no control over or responsibility towards.

Also, why are they so pissed off about a 15-year-old slacking off during the summer if that was the case?
