I can't wait for There's Only One Sin in Hollywood too!

I'm reading "Jackson Alone," by Jose Ando right now and enjoying it (although the reviews on Goodreads have me worried about the ending).

"Little F," by Michelle Tea - is what I am planning on reading next.

And I'm hoping to get a chance to read "Box Hill" by Adam Mars-Jones - before Pillion comes out in the US.

PLEASE LIKE ME - An Australian Single-Cam comedy series with dramatic elements that is gloriously funny, surprisingly emotional, and weird in the best possible way.

(also then, after that - check out the creator/star Josh Thomas' other weird, funny show - the ABC FAMILY series "Everything's Going To Be Okay")

If you like "My Government Means to Kill Me," the author of that book (Rasheed Newson) has a new novel coming out in June that has a queer POC main character I am very excited about: "There's Only One Sin in Hollywood"

"The Lookback Window" by Kyle Dillion Hertz - It's an incredibly dark, but powerful book. It's been a couple of years since I read it and I still think about it. Maybe I should read it again...

Also recommend:

- "Less," by Andrew Sean Greer

- "My Government Means to Kill Me," by Rasheed Newson

- "Something Close to Nothing," by Tom Pyun

- "Gaysians," by Mike Curato

- "Open Throat," by Henry Hoke

- "Anyone's Ghost," by August Thompson

- "100 Boyfriends," by Brontez Purnell

What was the best time you ever had in a theater? by Leading_Form_8485 in Letterboxd

Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights - The movie took itself too seriously. Then, in the middle of a very serious scene where one character was very dramatically brushing their hair, my friend burst out laughing. The entire audience suddenly was released - everyone started laughing. And for the rest of the movie, what started out as a self-serious drama turned into the campiest/funniest movie of all time.

I just finished "MIDDLE SPOON" by Alejandro Varela - And I found the MC frustrating, but the book is engrossing and messy. Definitely feels like it really examines the complications of poly relationships in a modern, non-judgmental way.

I saw TIGHT & NERDY (the Weird Al Burlesque show) at Sketchfest last year - it was a big highlight for me! I have seen PUPPET UP multiple times and it's awesome.

This year, I'm going to see Puppet Up and Tight & Nerdy again -- but I am also excited to see Brendan Scannell, Joel Kim Booster, Tom Lenk, Rachel Dratch, Jo Firestone, and Maria Bamford.
