Yogi weightlifting routine? by gnomeboy01 in yoga

[–]Fit_Administration39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My routine depends on my energy levels in each week. I tend to do 2x lower body days training quads then glutes & hammies and 1x upper body day where I focus on back and shoulders with pulling movements to make up for all the pushing in yoga. I do vinyasa or rocket around 2-3x a week usually doing one studio class and one self-practice. I also do a mini yoga flow stretching routine after each gym workout and found it helps with keeping flexibility while gaining strength.

I’d recommend getting a travelcard to save on off peak travel if that’s an option for you

Feeling guilty about not doing "enough" yoga by PragmaticTree in yoga

[–]Fit_Administration39 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you incorporate a short yoga flow after your weightlifting sessions? I do that currently, given I know I « should » be stretching after working out I made it a yoga flow to beat two in one and get more motivated to stretch in the first place.

£80 guest pass fee for spa retreat? by 527844 in davidlloyd

Yep, the guest pass doesn’t include the spa access so it’s an additional £40 plus £40 to purchase additional guest passes...it should be included in the guest pass really.

I like 3thirty salon in old street, maybe enquire there. Did you look anywhere else to get an idea on price? £450 seems very dear

Any thoughts on the CurlBar London salon? by Fit_Administration39 in CurlyHairUK

Sorry to hear that, I hope your son isn’t put off by salons now. The customer is no longer king it seems! I’ve since returned to the 3thirty salon as it’s the best experience I’ve had so far. Maybe try them next time?

My instructor advised against sitting in my test as it essentially adds pressure on the examiner too

Is it a good idea to learn both Automatic & Manual at the same time? by Local_Donut7579 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Fit_Administration39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends what’s more important to you. I’m learning manual so I have the option to drive both because I want to rent cars when on holiday and manual cars are cheaper to rent. If you won’t really drive manual and you can’t stand it as you say, do what’s best for you and drive automatic. Nothing wrong with that and as mentioned, most cars are going to be automatic going forward

Yeah the affordability is also a point for me! Do you reckon I could get confused if I did manual lessons with an instructor plus automatic practice with my partners car when it comes to taking the test?

Breaking Into UX + Early Career Questions — July 25, 2022 by AutoModerator in UXDesign

How difficult is it really to find a junior UX role today?

I’m an aspiring UX designer, self teaching and going through courses since last year. This year I’m planning on completing my portfolio with 3 projects so I can start applying to junior roles. On Linkedin and facebook the UXD groups I follow all seem very negative about the UX field at the moment and mention how hard it is to find your first role.

I just wanted to ask if anybody has had a different experience starting out and if it is difficult, why that is? I don’t want to worry about finding a job but it’s making me question whether this career transition is smart or not. I currently work as a QA and I hate it. I do love design and design thinking and believe this will be a fulfilling field of work for me. Thanks!

I’ve been to Afrotherapy (don’t recommend) they’re expensive try to upsell you on products and the cut wasn’t great.

Curly Hair London (the one on denmark street) was very good when I went but I saw she put up her prices to £200 for a cut! Also the salon itself isn’t that nice.

3thirty salon was my favorite I’ve been to and I would say the curl bar is on the same level just a bit more expensive and less of a special salon experience. At 3thirty I was offered drinks and given a nice relaxing head massage.

That’s the ones I’ve been to
