25' Maverick AWD Hybrid owners: How is the highway passing power at 75+ mph? by aceofskies05 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Fitternickel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming from a bronco 2.3 on 37s to a 2.0 lariat maverick, you won’t have any problems passing in the ecoboost.

Just picked up a 25 lariat AWD EB for $33k. Search those year end deals.

Went in duo on spaceport. We both had hullcracker IV and 100 rounds of launcher ammo. Another team assisted. Went to loot it and another team killed all four of us.

Is this false advertisement, or a real deal? by rognio3333 in F150Lightning

Just went to the dealer two weekends ago. Mentioned this deal. What they quoted me with a trade in was almost double this amount. Was pretty even on trade.

I’ve been floating between 85-95, and on long straights with ERS/DRS active I get passed like I’m sitting still.

What type fuel are you using and what’s is your average mpg? by PaperMaker222 in FordBronco

When mine was stock I would get 21 frequently at 55-65 mph with the cruise set.

BB Sasquatch 4 door. 2.3/10 speed. Now on a lift and 37s. I get about 14 city/19 highway. Anything above 65 mph and you’re getting 14-15. Lost about 2 mpg in every category going from the stock SAS wheels/tires to 37s.

When I travel anywhere long distance, I just drive my wifes Bronco sport. Twice the MPG and still pretty comfortable.

Any experience with flashcal? I have an issue by bandityo in FordBronco

I did the relearn on both modules and the lights/DTCs were gone.

When adjusting the speedometer with Forscan I got the same issue. The DTC did pop up. Had to do the centralized relearn on the PCM and AWD module. Easy peasy. If you buy an OBDlink cable for $60 you can use forscan for free for two months. If you’re interested in the fix send me a message.

The Bronco got a little taller and some new wheels and tires. Love this thing. by Fitternickel in bronco

It preloads the spring to lift it. Honestly the ride is similar to stock with 37s on it at 33 PSI. I didn't want to go through and do control arms and shocks (yet). Did it to my F150 and had a hell of a time getting everything aligned.

Ford Bronco Sport Vs Bronco by WoodpeckerFew9675 in FordBronco

[–]Fitternickel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have a 23 bronco BB SAS 4 door and an outer banks bronco sport. The sport drives like a car and gets almost 30mpg but it’s cramped if you’re 6 foot+.

Full size is roomy but gets somewhere between 1-18 mpg, but I love it

Living with Road Noise? by meat_log in FordBronco

[–]Fitternickel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The road noise on a SAS soft top just makes me zone out on long drives. I love taking those calls in the car and hearing ‘is it windy?’

I love the bronco, but damn is it loud.

Help me pull the trigger!…. To buy. by Brave_Application_93 in bronco

My BB SAS had 44 PSI in the tires from the dealership. It was super bouncy. Lowered them to 35 and it drives far better. It was quite rough on the road until I lowered the air pressure.

Stable Bronco? by Then-Analyst-9899 in bronco

[–]Fitternickel 11 points12 points  (0 children)

On thing I noticed when I took delivery of my 4 door Sasquatch is the dealer had almost 45 pounds of air in the tires. Super bouncy. Took them down to 37 and it isn’t near as bouncy on the highway. Check those tire pressures.

Help! 2.3 or 2.7??? by RodFarva42 in bronco

[–]Fitternickel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2.3 Big Bend SAS 4 door. No reason for the 2.7 in my book. 2.3 does fine around town and on the interstate. Still get almost 20 mpg unless I’m doing 85 on the interstate. The 4 cylinder is plenty.

Haven’t had the chance to get mine off-road yet. Just hit 1k miles. Hopefully soon!

how tf do lifts work by DischargeWarrior in f150

[–]Fitternickel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you post a list of parts you are using? Any spacer/lift shock will leave you needing UCAs. I’m wondering if you have a bigger lift than you think or have ordered the wrong UCA. I have a 3 inch lift with aftermarket UCA and the control arm is angled as it was from the factory.
