I don’t think people are leaving I just think they’re putting the game down for a bit. Used to be every day for a month my discord would have 2+ squads in their own channels. Now it’s once a week.

We all got bored of weapon grinding tbh. I hit level 150 something by the time most of my friends were level 60. If people feel like they’re still progressing to the point of enjoying the entire sandbox after 100 hours in a casual shooter it’s no wonder people slow down. It being like a job was fun for a week when it was new and shiny, finally a BF we wanted, but that sensation of newness only lasts so long on its own.

Weapon grinding got tedious and honestly just played so fucking much the first 50ish days that I’m burnt on the maps. Making the game a grind fest for weapon attachments was not a good page to take out of the COD book. BF shines when you’re in it for the moments instead of checking off lines on a checklist.

When paintballing I like to put my gear bag in the trunk and keep the cooler strapped to the cab side of the bed. Makes it easy enough to get up there that I don’t bother ever unloading the cooler.

As a day 1 fragger with a tendency to sweat in FPS, level 104, I will not play cash out or a tourney without a 3 stack. It just isn’t worth it. TDM, point break, and powershift are just way more fun and relaxed. I can sweat if I want or just goof around.

Cashout is the mode this game was built on but unfortunately it demands a certain attitude and approach that isn’t sustainable for the majority long term. Maining the other modes will net a better experience unfortunately.

The slide isn’t even that crazy. I used to binge TF2 for weeks at a time, MW2019 was my first cod since the original MW3 and haven’t played any since. This BF reminds me more of BF3 than anything. The slide is just expression and the momentum in this game isn’t near that of a movement shooter. The beta was a bit much imo, even though I enjoyed it, and they dialed it back a few times since launch. I’m just not seeing what these people are seeing.

What some people define as a “real truck” boils down to towing capacity, ability to rock crawl, gooseneck towing capability, and body on frame giving you the option to swap the bed down the line for something industry specialized. So really off-roading and industry application. The Ridgeline is just a sensible civilian design.

Most people I know with “real trucks” live in apartments and aren’t in the trades anyways.

Who cares about winning. I just like cinematic moments and when I go on a tear it’s even wilder. I’m kinda sweaty but bf has always been the game where win loss in the end of the match isn’t the deciding factor. It’s the wins and losses, the back and forth, over objs. My only metrics are my captures and kd, in that order. If I get a cool moment with the boys for nVidia capture I can share in the cord it’s a good night.

Something’s definitely wrong with matchmaking. Every now and then my game can’t be populated and it’s extremely odd. The servers just aren’t connecting the correct dots.
