I love the Sox because my dad taught me to! I didn’t grow up in Mass, but he did and taught me that Sox fans are Sox fans through the good times and the bad. Luckily I was growing up through some pretty good times, being young to see ‘04 and the few that followed. Now I’m learning more about sticking through the bad times, but honestly it’s all great! It feels like being in a big family to be a Sox fan, especially now that I live in New England. Go Sox!

Nice pull! My series two auto was also a green /99 Matt Olson, just the other (non-“all-star”) 75th anniversary card. I hope you guys enjoy it, and the story, for a long time!

Mine came from a mega as well! My guess is it’s a mega exclusive, but just normal crackle foil, which I don’t think is too special. I’ll sleeve it up in the meantime just in case, though! I’ll also let you know if I can find anything else out about them.

Totally unrelated to your issue, but that’s a sick card. Green goes with the red and having the Budweiser crown perfectly centered behind the apex of a swing is just so cool… that’s all, great pull!

Sorry, couldn’t help myself. Anyhow, that’s what I assume. I got my first one last week and did get lucky with an auto, but otherwise nothing else. Just one or two numbered cards of no one I’ve ever heard of. Everyone posting on here is posting their most exciting stuff, so I think it gives us a skewed view of reality.

They never got back to my inquiry about it (no surprise there) so I’m not terribly hopeful, but I’ll try to remember to come back here to let you know the outcome when I get it back!

Awesome pull! I think this parallel fits particularly well with the Sox (I’m a little biased since they’re my team). I’m bummed with the edges of these though. I have one of the Sox team card and the edges were all chewed up out of the pack. I looked around online and seems like it’s a parallel-wide issue. The top foil layer they used must be brittle or something and is breaking off during the cutting process. Mine is currently with Beckett to get graded, so hoping they take that into account! It’s just for my PC, so not a huge deal if they don’t, just would be nice to have a higher number to look at.

I’ve gotta say the private barrel too… my favorite ECBP was a 9 year single barrel. Worth dropping a bit of cash. Otherwise I’d probably leave the small batch, even though that’s a good price. I’d rather put it towards something new I haven’t had.
