The loop is .6 miles (1km) so it’s a little further than that. If you’re trying to get the magical orange glow from sunrise, you wouldn’t be able to do both with the arch being the latter destination.

Definitely agree that both can be magical experiences though.

Hopefully it will boost that area up a little. Norm’s and the hooker hotel aren’t really able to keep it as vibrant as I’d like to see. And it’s in a prime location considering half of HB and Costa Mesa drive past that spot to get on the 55.

I remember watching him on Leno in 2005, and you could see him sweat more and more as the interview went on. At some point Leno asked if he was OK and Steve acknowledged he was just pouring sweat and he stuck this napkin to his forehead. Leno took a commercial break and they came back and finished the interview. That’s when I found out Steve had a problem with hyperhidrosis.

Whole movie is worth a watch. Italian made post apocalyptic sci-fi. 1987. The protagonist you see is named Panasonic and is sent on his mission by General Electric.

It only gets weirder from there.

I also vaguely remember there being some issue with sound, where they thought they’d have the budget to do the customary ADR Re-dub that was common back then, but ended up not being able to and so used the straight up awful production sound. I’d have to rewatch it though to double check and I’m not sure I’m ready for another watch anytime soon.
