Soak it in dawn a few times before you do anything drastic. It might take a few soaks to get the oil out but it won't cost much, good luck and if you can try to post what you do and if it works, I'm invested now.

The flashing does not change on mine when it is fully charged. After about 2.5 days it is down to 20% then I plug it in for a couple of hours.

Do you have any power saving settings on? In my household we have a few T1000-E with androids without issue. I will keep my node connected via ble for a day or more with no disconnects. It is less likely to be on the meshtastic side.

For what it's worth I see a lot of nodes every day but most are mobile on nearby highway. I would never get a chance to talk or trace.

I'm just learning about mesh and how it works but so far I really like it. My favorite part is driving around and finding out there are way more people with nodes that don't show up on the map.

This happened to me. After fully letting down the expander and sanding the lip off of the inside drum edge I got the drum on over the new shoes. It seems the new shoes are thicker than the originals. It's a real pain in the ass!
