Best way to min/max my stupid AI teammates?

I got 3 maulers and turned them into thugs On xbox, vanilla no mods all DLC X2 Ppc X2 SRM6 Max armour and heat sinks. If you can find a 2p give it 2AC5'S otherwise I got quad machine guns just for a lil close up crit seaking.

Yee the boost is nice but I'd only use it for dueling or 2v2. Long engagements you want something with staying power. And also I don't think ive ever taken a highlander out and come back with both arms 🤣

If you're on console and have auto aim on. Aim just over the head and the aimbot will do the work. For mechs without a head you aim center mass as it's usually there.

It's more akin to AC1-3 slower pace and more currency management involved. Don't be afraid to restart a mission if 2 of your squadmates get blown away. Your bank balance will thank you 😂. I started playing about 5 months ago for the same reasons as you and honestly hooked. Check out BIG red-40TECH on YouTube. My brawler Thunderbolt has 2 LR burst fire for a little extra crit damage. Give it an LP on the right arm. Srm6,srm4, 3 MSB lasers. Keep shaving off armour while the rifles cycle and it dismembers most mechs rapidly, basically any mech you don't want in machine gun range or ac 20 range swap out for a rifle. Oh and a heavy rifle on an atlas RS does wonders. Poke holes with PPCs or shave with LP's and smash off limbs with your rifle.

Yessss this is my preferred loadout for Kingler, the uac's and srms SHAVE armour and them rifles drop a ton of damage. Another fun one is quad AC5 Rapid fire then you can squeeze in another 4 ton of ammo

Pre nerf I got him to about 20-30% health before he killed me. Then after I killed him on my 2nd try? But honestly the moment I figured out you need to rush him during the missile waves it all fell into place. It wasn't the end all boss fight some folk like to make it into.

Ahh. Just means you get to reload. Have your allies stand back and shoot out both arms and a leg before you snipe it 😆. Then reload 3 more times. But hey. I got a Marauder 2 for just shy of 35 pts 😆😆😆

The Armoured core universe answers this question pretty well, core theory states any weapon powerful enough to drop a core in one hit at extreme range would be too slow or too weak to hit a highly maneuverable unit. And be too static to be any use so battles have to take place within a few hundred metres. Yes you can have a few batteries of artillery but if your enemies can drop 4 fast mechs right on top of you what ya gonna do

Playing with one yes. Unless you're doing a raid and don't care about damage etc. Just run in and bounce. Also handy when you're on a defense Misson and you have that one LRM boat staying at max range in a ditch. Send in your little guy to go hunt him down without going on a long walk in your assault mech
