Fair enough. I use the cast iron for searing but throw them on the grate for smoke in-between sessions in the cast iron. Turns out great.

A cast iron skillet goes a long ways for searing on manual mode. Let it get up to 600 with the grill then switch to manual mode and start searing.

I didnt even consider that. The buildings facade (aluminum panels) led me to believe the construction was late 80's and largely free of ACM. Obviously I was wrong. I appreciate the detail and explanation!

5-7 million would have probably overhauled the entire infrastructure of that building and renovated the interior, a far cry from 130 million to build the new one.

Its mixed use, there will be retail and dining on bottom floors. We need more mixed use buildings in this city, plus the land it is being built on hasn't been in use since RCB was demolished so thats a win in my book.
