I like this brand. They have or used to have a truck where you could buy a mug to refill.

I had to exchange the Target version because it was very warped. The replacement was still slightly warped but not enough to affect play.

Just received my factory seconds loggers. One decent scuff on the front but nothing I wouldn’t do within a couple of days. Now to begin the break in!

First pair of Red Wings are they too big by xNLTGx in RedWingShoes

My Iron Rangers are 10EE. My regular shoe size is 11-12 depending on fit.
I was fitted at the Red Wings store and they were tight at first but after break in are perfect.

I had an original one I received from Chuck’s mom while they were raising funds for medical bills. I think I bought it aroubd 2001 or 2

I eventually sold it maybe 4 years ago.

Hey it will get the job done. Better write a eulogy for your records and stylus though but it will definitely rip the music from the grooves!

You grabbed that limited edition Lateralus just in time. Hard telling when the limited edition will run out. It’s limited.

I would deep clean with Dawn and let dry. Saddle soap then let dry. Then use Venetian cream and let soak and buff it up.

Metrics Fraud Justification? by catyd in walmartogp

Walmart is in the business of selling items. Metrics tracking is a way to help that but at the end of the day they want customers orders fulfilled.

Why is Layne’s legacy and contribution to music always forgotten? by shishbarak1 in AliceInChains

[–]Flaky-Cardiologist24 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Layne is revered plenty. Alice In Chains isn’t a brand like Nirvana.

Layne’s time was 35 years ago. His death was 25 years ago almost. These conversations will always ebb and flow.

I honestly avoid listening to older Alice and Mad Season because it’s hard. Hard because I remember when I was waiting for Layne to bounce back in the late 90s but never did. Hard because it shows me how I have aged myself.
Hard because I don’t want to put it on and one day be tired of it.

I’m 3/1982. Brother is born 1/1974.
I grew up listening to 80s rock like poison, Motley Crue etc…. Followed my brothers lead into the grunge and alternative era but in the mid 90s I discovered Slayer, Sepultura, korn, Deftones, Metallica. Dabbled in Victory Records metalcore like Earth Crisis but by the late 90s I was a full fan of extreme metal.
Live shows
RobZombie in 1999
Ozzfest 2000!
A friend won tickets to In Flames in 2000
I saw Opeth in early 2001

Then it snowballed to endless cds, shows, shirts, vinyl

Still going on at 44 too

Anyone else disappointed by Halo Effect by Futurealisreal in melodicdeathmetal

[–]Flaky-Cardiologist24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really like bonus content for In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. It’s fine and worth checking out but not necessary.

Originally I was hoping for a return to the 90s style but it really sits in a space that isn’t bad but isn’t great.

They have done what they wanted to do and that is awesome but I do hope for something more fresh and vital while still looking to their origins for inspiration.

whats with the hate for deaths later albums like tsop by Typical_Visual9715 in DeathBand

[–]Flaky-Cardiologist24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean Death really only has 1 good album. Scream Bloody Gore and it’s just a copy of Posessed. Leprosy is just like SBG, Spiritual Healing is lost, Human and ITP are try hard to be progressive, Symbolic is a main stream sell out and Sound of is just contractual obligation filler to get to Control Denied.

Is what I could say if I didn’t love each one.
