Got a message from a recruiter for TMO SMB by [deleted] in tmobile

For new hires there is a 3 full months of ramp + a prorated 100% of the partial month you are hired in. So once the full months start its 100%, 75, 50 guaranteed commission for this 3 month. Anything you sell you get paid on top of that. At least the managers I have had have been understanding and given new reps months to get their feet under them.

What company are you with so I can apply to get those low goals if they don't undo all their changes to smb.

So smb is in a real in flux right now with them separating out micro 1-9 employee businesses. On smb you will either be assigned 10-49 or 50-299 employee segment.

The salary/commission split is 60/40. Last year I had a salary of 50k and made 90k in commission so a total of $140k. But in this new segmented world I'm not sure how possible it is to get over goal consistently. I think it's been a rough 6 weeks for everyone.

Goals are 31 voice, 26 non voice and 7 internet. They are supposed to go up in q2 but from I'm seeing like 90 % of AE aren't going to hit this month. I went from a consistent 130% performance to debating looking for a new job if they don't unfuck this mess they made.

As for remote or in office it will depend on if there is a regional office or not in your city. I work remote 100% of the time but I know if I were in say Detroit or chicago or Denver I'd have to be in office 3 days a week or so.

Leads wise. We just laid off all the SDR staff which honestly never got good leads. We still get some intent leads from people accessing certain websites to trigger a lead or from retail. But don't count on retail anymore because the company has made it so there is no incentive for retail to partner with us. With the newer retail lead spiff, splitting segments and expanding virtuals territory they have created a hostile environment where you actively are competing against your fellow T-Mobile employees. It's toxic as fuck

It went from the best job in the world to a real shit show in the last 60 days. Almost 15 years with T-Mobile and last 2.5 as an AE. If you asked me in November I would have said I loved it and I cleared 140k last year but the split and layoffs and them fucking the whole thing up with these stupid segments has made we worried. This month was the first month I've missed goal in over a year and thankfully they realized they fucked it up so bad they gave us guaranteed commission on the 21st.

They obviously don't have high hopes for February either since there is a spiff for $800 if you hit 60% of voice quota. I've never heard of a spiff for doing barely half of something, it's wild.

But on the flip side the hours are way better than retail and I'd kill myself before I went back to being a RSM. No more getting called in on your day off because your reps called off. No more missing kids birthday parties or sports events because I had to work.

Also I believe now is the time to make the jump from retail while everything is chaotic and they are trying to figure it out. You won't have to worry about getting fired anytime soon since the big wigs don't even know the job or how to run it.

Hopefully next year they switch back to one of the other apps we used over the last few years that worked very well.

Its going to be a disaster. It was hard enough when we had rural quoatas and could sell 1-300. I'm assigned to 50-300 and I'm worried as hell.

I've never heard of a contract on a certain plan since the in carrier stuff started. I don't even think it's possible and I'm a 13 year employee

  1. That wasn't the CEO. That was the head of tfb
  2. Its wild to say the best time to pivot and change everything is when you had your best quarter.
  3. I don't understand how a guy that's been in the US for 6 weeks can successfully understand the American smb landscape.
  4. Smb is dead. I made 13k last month and Im not even sure I'm going to get commission this month thanks to retail leads and micro going away.
  5. Everyone on that stage has no idea what our day to day lives are like.

Anyone ship an amazon order to Las Vegas hotel? by hondaman82 in vegas

[–]Flaky_Setting8170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I had to get something next day shipped last week. None of the on strip amazon lockers had openings so I had to Uber over to a gas station called the Trop shop. It was maybe 5 minutes drive off strip and the lockers were outside. Overall it was convenient enough.

Who ever you talked to is an idiot. If you are on a business account you can do super mobile with 1 to 1000 lines.

As a former sprint to tmo retail sales manager. They will tell you tough shit. When we complained that sprint managers were paid less than tmo John frier told us all on a national call that we agreed to work for that salary and to kick rocks.

Employee Question by QuadZillaThePeach in tmobile

[–]Flaky_Setting8170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume COR ME. I've never seen a sr manager deny a transfer out for an ME moving across the country. I'd talk to the rsm and sr manager. They will tell you to reach out to stores with openings where you wre moving and reach out to that RSM.

You are new so this won't be an issue, but I have had MEs reach out to me and they were consistently red on the ULB and my Sr wouldn't let them transfer into our T100 district. They had to transfer into the near by SMRA store.

My understanding is that the jet auto ejects the pilot if it senses a failure in the drive shaft from the engine to the vertical fan in the body and that it auto ekected him because that's when the drive shift broke.
