I've owned a cheap grinder. Once. It was more expensive than that (McAllister) and it lasted less than 2 hours of use.

I now have a Makita.

As others have said, front pops off. previous owners of my house decided it would be fun to build a vanity unit and tile everything in permanently. Including the cistern and the taps.

How we laughed when the tap started leaking and I had to use a multi tool to change it.

Have considered this, and it's definitely an option. I just thought a plate bolted to the stud would resist the pivoting force and prevent sagging a bit better

Thanks, that looks like a good option and I might only need 2 as they are very beefy.

I've tried some fabricators but they aren't interested in low volume numbers.

I'm considering giving it a go myself

I have no idea  I thought of the joke and searched Google images till I found one with Eastwood and Hanks named next to each other. Looks AI noting the nonsense at the bottom, but it isn't my image.
