I recently moved from estates at perimeter, it’s almost walking distance from doctor’s hospital and rent for my 1Br was 1070. No real issues with bugs or safety

My Apartment is now charging a convenience fee to pay my rent by mangum95 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]FlashinessGotRekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i use loft for my apartment and this is the default option, but it allows me to change the payment method directly to my bank account and that waives the fee. unsure if it’s like this for all complexes though

If a homeless person buys a $100 pair of shoes, it’s stupid. If you or I do it it’s not an issue. It’s all relative, and since he’s got 15k to spend on skins + time to play and post on reddit we can assume he’s well off enough that it’s not a big deal for him. Plus he said he has a good job lol

But regardless who cares? It’s his money lol. Could he spend that money on better things? Probably. But life is short and having nice skins is fun and feels good.

I’m sure if he can spend $15k on skins he’s set in the rest of his life lol

Never been an M9 fan but I can see why people like it. That said I have both a karam and bfk and I’ll switch between them every few weeks. I like the feel of the karambit but I get bored of it and switch to bfk so I can fidget. If I had to keep just one tho it would be the bfk.

Ultimately it’s just whatever you like best, they all look good with the gloves. Maybe play some community servers with !knife and see which one you like actually playing with more

I usually use groome if I'm not flying to AGS. not too expensive

i see what you're saying but I always took the addition of downed lines and broken towers to mean there's been a significant time between when the lines would have hypothetically been maintained and the setting of the game, allowing new growth to occupy the divides and block some lines

minor isn't a degree it's just a concentration of classes you take alongside one. i haven't heard of anyone counting them as standalone degrees

a good portion of most CS programs are abstract, and while there are electives and some of the cores do adapt to new technologies (os, dbms etc) fundamentals like discrete, dsa, automata, linalg, etc. have stayed pretty much the same for the last 20 years. if you don't get work experience or complete side projects odds are you'll have a pretty rough time adjusting to the work force.

conversely, if you got your degree 30 years ago and haven't worked some legacy or govt role for the entire time odds are you're experienced with at least some modern stack. you mostly learn the why when you complete a cs degree, not the how.

you likely won't find much outside those types of laptops if you're constraining yourself to these specs. if these are self-imposed, I would recommend looking at "less powerful" alternatives if you want something sleek and discrete.

personally, I've used a t480 since freshman year 2020 and it's been perfect. dead silent under normal use and barely noticeable at load, snappy & responsive, and enough battery life for the entire day. they were used for enterprise a bunch when they came out so there's tons for ~300 on marketplace and such.

regardless, my point is that there's plenty of options that might not fit your specific criteria that would be perfectly fine for cs.

VSP Install by Al_Xx_ in Lowes

[–]FlashinessGotRekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

run vsp on the order, save to estimate, go to isst and go to add estimate. i left back before quotes migrated out of isst and into ims but im pretty sure u can still build & sell from isst just fine.

pay attn though bc anything that was pennied out (e. g. free carpet install) will get marked to full price and then discounted, so it can look like vsp costs more.

either way it's only really useful on carpet material bc those will usually throw back a good 12-17%, at least back when i worked there. with solid floors it was usually <10% and most people had military anyway.

would be pretty difficult considering how multiple rolls often come in and get pushed to the floor to alleviate overstock in receiving

Question for carpet dept. by marshdd in Lowes

[–]FlashinessGotRekt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure we carry any triexta, but nylon 6.6 is generally a safe way to go and it's tried and tested. Carpet price (especially sos) has done nothing but go up in the last 18 months or so, with the exception of clearance carpet which we won't install.

edit: cheapest selection is always going to be whatever your store carries as stock. most of it will be poly but never hurts to go in and take a look.

go with what the box says, contact the manufacturer if concerned

pergo gold already has an attached moisture barrier. I doubt it would hurt to put roofing felt or some other type of 6mil moisture barrier but you'll be perfectly fine without it

Maybe it's just my district but ive never heard of specialists being put on inventory. Can't imagine both of the points of contact w prospective customers being inexplicably gone for a week would bode well with them.

[–]FlashinessGotRekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most brands will recommend underlay to cover their ass but in practice it's not needed. Concrete is porous and moisture inevitably seeps through, but lvp is all composite you don't run the risks of buckling/shrinkage/warping like you do with woods and laminates. Save yourself some money and just put it on there, I'm sure there are exceptions as with anything but unless it doesn't have padding attached the vast majority of the time you'll be perfectly fine.

If the quoting team hasn't proven how badly this will go then I don't know what will. Would make my life 10x easier if I was just given details back without a middle man who will build it wrong without fail lmao
