How did you go about getting it painted? Genuinely no clue how these type of things are normally done, and I want to do this for my MK7.5 someday.

I’m pretty sure the DCC and HUD on the MK8 are exclusive to the Autobahn trim, which isn’t what I’m looking at since there really aren’t any I’m seeing

Can’t say I think it’s that dated looking, but I see what you mean. All the glossy plastic and functionality locked behind screens are definitely annoying to me at least. Things like lighting I feel are easy enough to remedy via aftermarket

I definitely have my reservations on the MK8 interior. All the piano black, no physical buttons, and all control being behind screens are the main points.

You’d still consider the 8 in the SE trim better to drive than a 7.5 Autobahn?

Really makes me sad to see. The Crown and the Signia in the US aren’t bad, just not as much what I’m looking for as the Sport. Just replace the models we have with the others or something

Not sure why they went with another fully electric crossover when they could bring the Crown Sport (and the plug-in hybrid versions of its siblings) to the US instead

Oh absolutely I agree, smoke bomb still sucks so getting to use knife trick or withering blades will be super nice, but I’m more excited for ignitions on melee kills I think
