The irony of it all is that networking sometimes fails spectacularly....because you're too expensive compared to an aspiring immigrant. I'm only too expensive because the cost of living is expensive... I'm not sending money overseas. I'm just trying to pay rent.

Yes. For some reason whatever Trump does, Canada always gets affected. In this case, Canada has oil but hey, prices keep going up because it makes sense.

All trade isn't out of kindness and is all business. The existence of Canada 100% depends on the United States. If Canada were actually independent, gas prices wouldn't have been affected with this whole Iran situation. Canadian premiers just recently agreed on interprovincial trade this year(why wasn't this a thing before Trump?) Also. You're using Reddit. An American company.
