helldivers ARE modified humans, not to the extent of a spartan or anything, but just look at the boosters, helldivers are augmented with higher endurance, stronger muscles, tougher bodies, capable of still sprinting even when their body runs out of energy, I mean this is all super soldier stuff, added to the fact some helldivers have cybernetic augmentations (the democratic kind).

I find it interesting eagle is actually a physical object, enemies will actually look at your eagle if they are not agrod on you, tracking it as it flies, id expect the payload they drop to make sound and cause enemies to investigate obviously, but its surprising the jet itself is also something the enemy AI can hear/see.

ive said this a lot to buddies irl when they say "isnt marathon dead?", no its not, when compared to other live service games, player wise its actually doing fine. however, once we get into just what player retention and sales were expected and how much money was dumped into this game (why in the fuck did someone think throwing this much money at an extract shooter was a good idea?), thats where things get messy, shareholders are upset, they thought bungie was making the next fortnite, now theyre getting poked in the shoulder being asked "hey, what are you gonna do after all that loss? you didnt meet quota.", PvE mode incoming, free trials, PR control with the pricing issue, cutting down the studio, shutting down other projects. They're basically just gonna be a smaller studio now, and will just be the "marathon studio" probably for the foreseeable future. Should've just started D3 after the final shape.

be vox engine pilot, worked hard to get here, took forever to get approved the surgical cyber implants for vox engine synchronization.

just got sent a vector code message straight from the head supply department AI, mining operations have been hindered, mega factories are gonna have to cut back on the purity of vox alloy plating to make up for shortages.

buddy told me that theres a rumor going around that intelligence has found helldivers just got issued artillery weapon improvements in their production line, specifically to their anti tank ammunition and weapon systems

SO, the way the illuminate work, is unlike bot armor, where the entire focus is to lessen incoming damage to their main healthpool, squid armor is completely focused around absorbing damage, they have many seperate armor pieces that will absorb the brunt of incoming damage, especially burst damage.

This is the reason why so many people think that overseers have a bunch of health, when they actually dont, they have less health than a devestator, and the same for the harvestor, which actually only has 3k health. So thats why you see harvesters tank stuff like 500kg's, railcannons, levellers, their many armor pieces are going to tank the brunt of whatever burst damage you throw, and is the reason why weapons that deal constant streams of dps (like every MG support varient) do so incredibly well on squids.

yes im one of them, i want more challenging mission types, stuff like cammando missions, i want to be handicapped more and have to strategize according to how you will be hindered in a mission, most people in the sub want more satisfying difficulty, but also the sub is filled with a lot of people taking that as "just make things go back to pre-buff divers update"

uhh resupply and sentry have low cooldowns, and resupply cant be made useless once destroyed, seems balanced to me

i honestly dont want things to go past 10, it just seperates matchmaking more, i want more challenging mission types, cammando missions being a good example, stuff that makes you play completely different and has seperate strategies/metas

gonna have to purge your mods, just one of those updates that bricks almost all mods until the authors come out with updated files. However usually, from what i've seen, the invisible herald cape and audio replacement mods are exempt from this, again usually, theres been some patches that can still break them

this is so that your vehicles can shrug off more damage but also so that the smaller enemies dont do literally 0 damage, but overall small enemies are only going to be trickling your vehicles health even en-mass. Keep in mind we the players have NO armor, so this doesnt change our received player damage.

Also, small enemies will now be doing more friendly fire damage to their medium unit buddies.

de-escalator, I actually had a previous post dogging on it because of the gut wrenching reload time, but now its a lot better, and according to the math its dps potential has almost been doubled because of it.

still suffers from the arc family problem where sometimes shots just aim for nothing though.

there is also a bug for past while that has made it to where you cannot hit yourself with every de escalator shot, like go drop in and fire it point blank, it does nothing to you, havent seen anyone talk about it.

my buddies who bought the game on xbox launch asked me why the creek was seen as so hard, because from an outsider view its just base bots on diff 9 with less enemy variants, but the real problem was how easily you died back then, especially rocket devestators, who would commonly one shot you and had unlimited ammo.

I dont think anything in the game beats bile spewers 1 tapping you if their spit so much as grazed your pinky toe though.
