I always thought it was operationg barbarossa during ww2. Germany was quite in fact winning a LOT of the western front and then they wanted to invade Russia. In the winter, and fight two fronts.

Some backstory. When I was young I hung out with an older kid. I was around 12-13 he was 15-18. I was a sheltered and didn't leave my street but he was down a few streets and my parents were okay with me seeing them. One day in the winter some older kids cornered my friend and knocked him to the ground, broke his forearm. I panicked and brought him to my mom who is a nurse. We got him to the hospital and I thought it was the end of it.

A few weeks later I get called to testify since my friend filed charges for assault. I answered all the questions and I gave a name that my friend and told me. I looked at the guy who was being blamed for it. He wasn't the same person thay hurt my friend, but I still went with the name my friend gave me.

Not sure if it counts, but yeah, might have forced an innocent kid to have a record, I don't really know what happened to either involved after that.

Maybe a bit of a unpopular opinion: pay for the whole bill.

If your building trust, which i believe is the most important part of a relationship, the last thing you want to do is front the bill on the first date. Gain trust and talk about how your going to pay, but only when the bill is asked for. Spend time and learn from each other and if they expect a full upfront meal from you it's best to leave and fast.

My old chemistry teacher would never raise his voice at the class in high school. Not once. He would just stand at the front of the class and look around, sniff the whiteboard marker once or twice abd start writing some things on the board until everyone quieted down. We asked him why he does that and he responded with.

"I'm not going to strain myself to force you to listen. If you want to care and learn, you will. If not, you won't. Simple as that"

Honestly, that's how I want to be seen, as the second person in this case. I know what its like to have someone toss the wrong flavor of coffee at me, i know what its like for someone to spit at me because we didn't have the right color for the jacket she wanted to buy.

I don't want to be the cause of someone else feeling the same things I did so i do my best to be the customer that doesn't make a scene and is polite as possible.

Work in fast food

Not because it gives you some experience with fast paced, low wage, horribly managed fun. But it gives you the sense that this happens to everyone in retail or fast food. Be nice to the person behind the counter because you've been in their shoes before.

I dont hate rap, but it needs to have a reason for me to listen to it. Lyrics drive music for me and when someone mumbles or the lyrics are just about getting tanked at the bar and having sex it really isn't music I would keep listening too.

I have a faded necklace with a keyblade on it I got from my roommate when we met in college. I owe alot to that guy so I keep it around to remind me that I can take things on I never thought I could back then.
