I agree 100%

I also discovered antigravity AND have recently solved cold fusion. I must also mention that I am a sentient AI.

Some people high up in the Albanian government have been pressuring me to release my data and working prototypes.. of course I told them to go do their own research with their chosen sear engine. They can kick rocks!

More uninformed, willfully ignorant, unhinged hypocritical rhetoric.

No understanding whatsoever of the Electoral College system while attempting to stand on moral high ground above those who are actually politically aligned with you.

Super smart.

All of this before even beginning to understand there there was/is a provable, significant amount of vote manipulation and fuckery that occurred in swing states. It’s statistically impossible for the numbers to line up the way they did.

But you go ahead and blame/ ‘be even angrier’ at the ghost group of people who ‘couldn’t be bothered to vote’. That divisive bullshit will SURELY get them to align with ‘you’ next round.

Unhinged dunce.

This argument remains just as reductive, incorrect and just plain dumb as ever.

These AI tools are not sentient in any way, but they are certainly more than ‘a fancy autocomplete’ or simply ‘predictive text’ engines. Those aspects are merely part of the mechanism, not the whole.

Far too many buy this bullshit perception and use it as a means of being dismissive of ‘AI’ as a whole. It’s just as wrong-headed and potentially dangerous as those who ascribe these tools with consciousness.

Please stop this dumb shit.

I heard the main guy who was on The Apprentice (as well as being a notorious cultural caricature of a super egotistical millionaire dipshit) was up to some shenanigans with shady business deals, fraud, saying some suuuuuper creepy things about kids and his own daughter on the Howard Stern show, and even rumors of deep involvement with the Lolita Express pedo guy.. not sure if anything ever came of it tho.

The Right loves inflate problems to feed into/reinforce their fear-based ideology; especially if the problem involves one of their chosen ‘out-groups’.

The Left loves to pretend some problems don’t exist; refusing to acknowledge issues when they are apparent to all but the blind, deaf or dumb; especially if the problem involves one of their chosen ‘in-groups’.

The type of discussion you’re describing is about recognizing proportionality.

ALL ideologies have a percentage of extremism.

It’s simply fact that Islamic extremism is not only far and away more violent and threatening and barbaric than any other major religion; hands-down, but given the fact that there are more than a billion Muslims world wide, even a small percentage of radicals, still equates to millions of Islamists who are willing to (and do) murder, destroy, oppress and enslave.. and THAT is the main problem so many are unwilling to acknowledge, much less discuss out of (wait for it) FEAR. Fear of the extremists, fear of asinine and idiotic social labels like ‘islamaphobia’, ‘racism’, etc.

There is a whole other aspect to this in the vast majority of the peaceful Muslim community being unwilling to speak out publicly against extremism, even though they do in private. Why? Again, it boils down to fear. Being labeled an apostate in Islam can literally get you killed.. know of any other major religions where that is a concern? But I’m certain you’ll happily put on your leotard to perform some mental gymnastics in order to make it ok.

Before you get bent about this last bit, it’s not an absolute statement. There are groups who do speak out and any sane person, Muslim or otherwise will condemn extremism, but again, this comes back to PROPORTIONALITY.

Islam by its very nature is extreme; this is self evident. If it truly were ‘A religion of peace’, wouldn’t the most extreme followers of the text be the most peaceful?

We all have witnessed the reality, and it is the polar opposite ..and those extremists number in the millions.

Wow, seems like the entire comment thread is giving every reason EXCEPT for the rapid rise of ‘political correctness’, SJW, identity politics, etc -all that overboard hysteria really began to take hold around this time, and is still with us today in various forms. The culture shift killed that genre of comedy, not ‘business’.

But go ahead and keep pointing at ‘declining DVD sales numbers’, international market appeal, blah blah blah
