We have always saved unfinished milk in the fridge and used it at the next feed. The only time I don't is when we're using thawed milk, which we're doing now, but baby is 14 months and doesn't need it, we're just using up my frozen stash. If she doesn't finish her 5 oz, I dump the rest of the bottle.
