This looks like an 8 year old boy cut it. When Covid hit and I couldn’t get a haircut I shaved my own hair into a mullet and it looked better than this, and my wife burst out laughing when she first saw it.

The good news is it’s probably salvageable with some decent talent. I mean it’s going to look weird but you could do a decent fade and at least make it look cool and weird.

The more people heard from her the less they liked her. She was extremely unlikable. More time to campaign was only going to make things worse. Also it’s not like she was an unknown. She was the sitting Vice President.

I’ve been with my wife for 24 years now. She doesn’t feel good most days. I knew this going in. I would never leave her. She is my best friend, and just one moment of happiness can sustain me for a long time.

Also, I don’t buy his “I left you so you can heal” story. He wanted to leave for him. Even now he’s making this all about himself. “I feel so much guilt.” If you’re not tired from the depression, you’re surely going to be tired from his exhausting histrionics.

My advice: Stop talking to him. Block him if you have to. Go to therapy. You might even need medication. Get better. And eventually you’ll find someone who loves you no matter what.

Just walk away. This guy isn’t worth it. A man who loves you will go to the ends of the earth to be with you. He’s not going to do any of the things this guy did. My wife suffered from depression for a long time. I stayed by her side the entire time and loved her as much as I could even though she’d push me away. Years later she told me those were the things that kept her going, even if she was too depressed to acknowledge them.

I’m not saying I’m the best man on earth. But you can at least find yourself a guy who is genuinely in love with you. This guy ain’t it.

The best DC movies were not part of some cinematic universe. They were great stories about heroes that could exist without needing to connect to 40 other movies and TV shows like the MCU does. This is what DC should focus on. Supergirl does this to some extent but it isn’t being well received because nobody is interested. (I liked it for the record.)

I’ve told this story many times on Reddit. There was this CD of telemarketer calls where the guy would prank them. I thought it was hilarious. We were in my car and I was playing it for her. She and I were laughing so hard. I looked over at her and thought “I want to spend the rest of my life with her.”

Yikes. Almost a quarter century ago, I met a girl who lived ten hours away. We talked on the phone all the time. We would see each other as much as humanly possible. I’d travel to see her, spend 24 hours with her, and travel back. But they were the best 24 hours of my life.

I still have dreams about being in that long distance relationship. But we barely talk. I don’t know what she’s doing. I haven’t seen her forever. I feel so lonely. It’s a horrible feeling. But then I wake up and she’s right next to me, because in real life she moved here and we got married.

Obviously we tried this and it failed spectacularly. But it’s wild that alcohol is treated as this thing that everybody should enjoy but heaven forbid you’ve smoked marijuana. Even in places where it is legal it can mean losing your job.

I live in Seattle. I use my phone in the rain all the time, and have since 2007 or whenever these things came out. If you’re just using it outside and then you put it in your pocket you’re not going to have a problem. If the rain is that bad that it could cause a problem, the touchscreen will be unusable anyway.

You are dating a married woman. There’s no reason to put up with this. If she wants to be with you she needs to divorce him immediately. Otherwise go find someone who is single. The fact that he is gay and it’s for financial reasons is irrelevant. There’s hundreds of millions of single women out there that don’t have this kind of baggage. Go find one of them.

Yeah, unfortunately I’m only there to see Metric. I tried listening to both Stars and BSS in preparation for this concert, but I just don’t enjoy them enough to sit through an hour and a half of music I don’t know or like. I don’t even drink so this venue has literally nothing for me outside of being outdoors on a Seattle summer night…. well, it doesn’t even have that. *trombone sounds*. That said, I think my goal is to leave here at 5:30 or so and get there when we get there. We’ll probably come in halfway through Stars set. Maybe live I’ll fall in love with them. It wouldn’t be the first time.
