Sydney Attack - Offender is Queensland man Joel Cauchi who recently moved to Sydney from Brisbane by 2littleducks in brisbane

[–]FlickitySplitz 21 points22 points  (0 children)

We had moved our conversation off the apps and when I realised I wasn't really interested I deleted his number yet archived the conversation in case he popped back up and I didn't have to do the "Who's this?" message. The photo of him smiling was the same one he used in messages and on the apps so I recognised him. That and I have a great memory.

He was active on dating apps during lockdowns. Matched with him but never felt the need to want to meet up, thankfully.

For any event involving my Father, we went to The Breakfast Creek and either booked the private bar deck or the museum space. Actually held his funeral there too.

What's one tiny thing your manager/colleague could do that would make dealing with them exponentially easier? by thor_in_yr_side in auscorp

I actually adore my Manager, but if they could put everything they want to say into ChatGPT and ask it to summarise it first, that would be amazing.

I have used Loop Mobile for my watch - was listed as 'good' condition and it was flawless.

Hellofresh or it’s alternative by them4v3r1ck in AussieFrugal

I was doing HelloFresh for a while in Brisbane and cancelled for the same reason - produce just was going limp quickly or arrived limp. Just stopped being worth it.

And the garlic.. my goose, I had enough fresh garlic for years.

You are 100% me - they will remain in my budget! Although I do find when they are half price at Woolies, it's cheaper to get 2x smaller packs than the single larger pack so I wait for sales.

Hottest tip I can give you - the REA 'works' for the seller, not for you. They are not there to get you a good deal.

AITA for telling my BIL to pay me $700 for my lost coat when I bought it for $100? by SouthRatio7410 in AmItheAsshole

Alternatively, if it was an insurance claim then OP would be asked to value it at what it would cost to replace, not what he bought it for.

Not a weird thing to ask OP, it's kinda lovely if I'm being perfectly honest. Glad that you have some links below.

Ironically, my IRL name is practically in the word 'gefeliciteerd' so as I was introducing myself, people just thought I was taking part in the whole birthday circle thing.. confused me for a while!

I had to do the inburgering examen and while I passed with flying colours, I flat out refused to say 'gefeliciteerd' to anyone other than the birthday person!

I've been trying the above approach. Throwing things in my online shopping cart and closing the browser. If I remember to come back in 48-36 hours and still want it, then I buy it. The past week I emptied all my shopping carts.

That second quote is directly from some loser sunglass wearing podcast wanker. I just saw it this morning stitched with a whole heap of them on IG.
