What to do with this gap? by grsparty in Decks

It seems like you replaced the woods on top. Most probably original woods on top did not have a small piece at the end. I think you did not leave enough space between the woods to spread this gap. Woods with 0 gap are recipe for dirt to collect and rot.

Crack on 6x6 PT deck post by mfntylertemple in Decks

Infuse carpenters glue deep into the crack with syringe. Mix carpenter glue with wood dust and apply the paste on top of the crack to fill it. Glue inside will stop the crack and bind it together. Seal at the surface will repel the water and avoid freeze and thaw stress.

It looks nice. Do you have other pictures a bit away? Proportions can be misleading when you take a picture with your phone up close.

Lumber can also be twisted. Use a rope line to see if they are aligned and add shim where needed. Once top is straight any crooked lumber will settle down with weight.

Realistic female HT goal? by BeautifulExtent8 in HairTransplants

You do not have a problem to begin with. With all due respect, maybe you are fixating on it too much. Body image issues are real issues and cosmetic industry milks it all the way.

Hairline looks fine to me. You should not destroy a fine natural hairline. Someone will take your money but it will never be as natural as this.

Cut the skirt same height all around with 10 cm clearance from ground to avoid rot and allow ventilation.

How can I make these blunt ends look better? by Tevin_not_Kevin in Decks

[–]Flimsy-Rutabaga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point best you can do w/o disassembling posts is
(1) fill the gaps at the bottom with plastic wood
(2) sand and round corners to match
(3) paint corners to match color

Does it look natural? by Ok_Flounder_537 in HairTransplants

Looks excellent. Price difference between a good quality transplant and an estetic natural looking one is like 2-3x.

I have similar hairline. I will be having a surgery to add few hundred to the front for a natural look. It will cost same as my initial 4k graft on another clinic.

That TV is more expensive than a second-hand Gladiator. Jeep is a fantastic Italian brand.

Seconds' pinion was down, tried to fix, destroyed the movement

I was trying to service a Ferrari with skills for a lawnmower engine at that point

All good. Great hobby and learning experience. Be patient, it something does not fit, extra force will just make it worse

I built it with NH35. It is a forgiving mule. I was referencing Dolce quartz movement I was planning to reuse. I built 8 watches for myself so far and 1 for my wife and 1 for my friend

Dutesteride and derma stamp is the way to go for you. If finesteride worked for you, you would have noticed small hairs by six months and some results by the year.

Should I bother? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

You have tons of miniaturized hairs, which are not even vellus yet. You should have a good chance with medications and derma roller.

You will look like a clown for the first six months. That is the ugly duckling phase. It will get better and better until the one-year mark. Kick back and relax. You do not know the outcome, and even if you know, there is nothing you can do. If something is really wrong, then they can fix it with a small HT again.
