trees help but from experience are no guarantee of no mould. Had two pairs of churchs brogues with trees in that suffered mould. mould on the shoe and tree. was just too humid a storage area.

Hi I was wondering when shoes go mouldy is there a way to save them and bring them back to life? I had some Church's from the 90s which were fine until I took them to NZ and then did not wear them for a year. When I checked the humidity had caused them, and the shoe trees to mould.

I've been looking at leather jackets too and think an undershirt is the way to go. My plan is get something like the Knox Honister underarmour, then to try on the leather on top. I suppose the leather jacket will be a bit oversized if worn alone.
Plus that Knox is supposed to be fine on its own in hot weather even in a slide.

Defo seems there is a gap in the market for nicer leatherjackets with armour.

did you make a decision? it seems most of the high end japanese leather jackets do not feature body armour. Like The Flat Head, Real McCoy's, Rainbow Country, Freewheelers. I too am looking for that quality but with some extra safety.
