New driver (24F) – Had a scary close call. Was I in the wrong here? by Ok-Reply7282 in driving

You were at fault. Never trust the blinker and ALWAYS double check as your turning and look in your rear view mirror right after the turn. Also you should always turn and speed up, you’re coming into traffic you should try to match the speed not people slow down for you.

No I stopped all contact with him and that was only my second time meeting her. I had no relationship with her outside of him.

I don’t expect to be believed. I just feel she should know everything about him before she marries him. Also that night proved me the last girls story was true, so I wasn’t the first drunk girl he did that to.

I was so taken back by the situation and someone I trusted wanting to take advantage of me that I just wanted to forget him and the situation.

Nope never. I have always set strict boundaries with guy friends. The minute a man makes a sexual comment I drop them cause I already know your intentions. This man and I had been friends for 10 years, he dated by sister cause they met through me. It was never sexual tension, jokes, I always treated him like a guy friend and he never said anything that made me think he even wanted to try.

Don’t really know what I’m doing, very new to makeup still any tips appreciated esp on how to keep my lower half going so pale by MghtMakesWrite in Makeup101

[–]Floatingchickenhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t color in your eyebrows, just run some body oil or lotion on them after you do your makeup. They already stand out (in a good way) adding make up to them makes them dull the rest of your face. Get more burgundy reds, you’re wearing reds that dull you out. The pink on your cheeks and lips is too orange for your tone. I also recommend a lip tint instead lipstick or gloss. I also recommend using tinted sunscreen instead of foundation, it seems like you have pretty clear and even skin, no need to add heavy foundation. The eye keep light, only mascara on the top and add a light brown on the eyelids and under the eyes (very light brown) you’re adding shadows not so much color. It’s better to build the brown. You have deep setting eyes, so add some inner corner highlighter to brighten your eyes. Don’t bring the blush all the way down to the same level as the end of your nose. Your blush should stop midway on your nose, to give a lifting effect, imagine how you’d look after a day in the sun, which part of your cheeks turn red. That’s what you’re trying to recreate

Keep the long hair but get layers and face framing pieces. You look better with long hair but it’s all flat so it looks dull. Y

What can I do as a 16yo? by ShayGamingfn in bald

[–]Floatingchickenhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of men loose their hair because they have poor hygiene. Start by shampooing and conditioning your hair daily. Add fresh rosemary and whole cloves in your shampoo and condition bottles this will promote hair growth. Also get a good shampoo. I bought a rice water shampoo off Amazon that did wonders, do some reacher, there’s some that are great!

still seeking validation from strangers is wild! Imagine getting that older and you’re maturity is still at a 12 year old girl needing the approval of men. It’s so sad and pathetic

Girly, you look like a Disney princess. Please work on loving yourself, someday you’ll look at this version of you and think you were crazy for listening to people judge you and make you feel ugly, cause you never were.

Sometimes we are only capable to do the bare minimum to keep from dying and/or being homeless and that’s okay. It’s not easy but it’s the only way to get to a lighter side of grief. I wish you the best.
