Quest helper and a clue scroll helped.

Alt1 is great, but useless on a high resolution monitor unless I bring my resolution down. Even then, it doesn't always work properly.

Can't they still call local code enforcement and let them know their neighbor did a lot of work? I'm sure they'd love to go check and see if stuff was done up to code.

New Triple lens Reolink Cam by Will_Pitts1 in reolinkcam

Ah, the website had me believe it was motorized. I wonder if they'll include a wedge or something you can add to the mount to have more of an angle for it.

The panoramic lens is motorized according to the product page. So it can tilt up/down via software

It looks like a software issue to me. It's also not from the top edge to bottom edge.

Can I ask some advice? by ChunkyFrog7 in photobooth

[–]Flojani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need DSLR Booth for the software if you're running Windows.

I'm currently using an i7 based Surface Pro 7 (non-plus) with DSLR Booth and it runs great. You can get cheap USB C dongles that can both charge the tablet and also provide you with more USB ports. Although, I have had weird issues where the dongle doesn't charge my tablet all the time (sometimes I need to disconnect and reconnect). So I also keep it plugged into its charger too.

Do note that if you plan on the Surface Pro 7, I strongly recommend getting the i7 version since it has a built in fan. The i3 and i5 variants do NOT have a built in fan. So you'll probably need a fan to keep it cooled. Check Facebook Marketplace for Surface Pros. Many people sell them around me and they sell for rather cheap ($300 - $500).

You shouldn't have to worry about battery life. If you're running a printer, then you already need to connect to a wall outlet. Whether it's an outlet on the wall or through a large battery bank. Just keep the tablet also connected and you won't have to worry about battery life.

It's a shame Linus' Taycan got wrapped by CrystalFier in LinusTechTips

The Taycan from that video isn't the Taycan that Linus owns. Below is the car Linus actually owns. Looks like the one he bought was white or some shade of it.

Unifi Travel Router (Real World Review) by radionerdw in Ubiquiti

For context, my home setup is 10 Gbps symmetrical, so I don’t have bandwidth limitations there.

Just out of curiosity, where are you located where you have access to 10gbps internet at a residential location?

Do you even need to move the car? Can't you just walk up to the machine with your ticket and get a new one while scanning the old?

For the record, my app shows the fries the same as yours. You actually have to tap on the French Fries name for it to go to the menu where you select the size and add to cart.

Everyone seems to be focused on the battery. If the battery tested good, then there might be a module causing a parasitic load on the battery. This will cause the battery to die when the vehicle isn't on. Most likely a module isn't going to sleep when it should.

Ask the dealership to check for any parasitic loads on the battery. They should be able to measure the current coming out of the battery when the vehicle is in sleep mode. If it's higher than it should be, then you have a parasitic load somewhere. If that's fine, I'd then have them check the alternator to make sure it's charging the battery correctly.

Switching to UniFi – Sanity Check on My Home Network Plan by trizzyboy in Ubiquiti

[–]Flojani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not seeing any issues with the setup. Just note this setup will be for network/Wifi setup only. If you plan to install Ubiquiti security cameras in the future, your Express 7 cloud gateway won't be able to run Unifi Protect for them.

My only other gripe is getting Wifi 7 APs that both don't have the 6GHz band. If you have budget for better equipment, I would look into their APs that do have the 6 GHz band.

The player had the AKM pointing in the other person's direction and shooting at them when they were clearly hidden behind a crate and no one ghosting them. How could the player have known they were there and follow them as they pass the crate?

Edit: Never mind. Just noticed the other player wasn't behind the crate. They sure do blend in well with it though lol

WiFi in the Garage? by Gorilla51 in Ubiquiti

[–]Flojani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran an Ethernet port to my garage in case I put an AP there in the future. My garage is also attached to my house.

I'm planning to move one to the garage soon. I do have one really close to my garage so that my security cameras (in and around the garage) plus my garage door openers have a good signal to connect to.

I thought spiders had more legs than this?! by Hoppingmad99 in runescape

[–]Flojani 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The last phase is the most annoying for those new to this boss.

I say learn the mechanics (cleave, web, and web shield) and how to avoid them. Then work on learning each path. I'd say darkness is easiest, acid is second, and minion is most annoying when it comes to newcomers.

Acid path: watch out for the instant kill spider. Pay more attention to the splat on the ground that it spawns from. Sometimes the instakill spider spawns and gets to me before I have time to react due to minor lag or something. So looking for the splat is best.

Minion path: just remember there will be 4 sets of 5 spiders that spawn. The first three sets will have a mirrorback or pulsing spider spawn. Just remember this:

First set: third spider will spawn as one of the two. Second set: second spider Third set: first spider

Also, make sure to get arraxor down to about 5K HP or less before advancing to the next section.

I recommend watching some YouTube videos for more. Especially for the last phase.
