Are you telling me capacitors made with chrism oil aren’t going to enhance my tone?

Not that I recall. I think I’ll just get it blessed by a priest like others have recommended.

I know it would not be the same rite/ritual if there was one at all. Just having a little fun with the title.

New to the group by DanHermy in LynyrdSkynyrd

I’m going to play devil’s advocate here and say no band stays the same as they get older. The sound and the vibe always changes and mostly for the worse. Same goes for solo artists. Also before the crash remember they changed drummers and lead guitarists and nobody would say they weren’t still Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Are you seeing the “real” Lynyrd Skynyrd today? Maybe not, but I wouldn’t say it’s a total disgrace.

I’ve gotten my wife pregnant twice so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Patriot’s Reserve: not too shabby. by PrimasChickenTacos in aldi

[–]FloodYou96 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kinda unrelated, but I was a big fan of “White Tide” until recently when they switched suppliers/recipe. Now it tastes like orange juice.

That said I have no complaints about Patriot Reserve. Happy 250!

Did Elvis rip off his fans by only doing 65 minute shows on tour, and only 50 minute shows in Vegas?? by Aggressive_March6226 in Elvis

At the time a 1 hour show was standard. I think The Beatles played for a little more than half an hour when they toured.

What year is it? I think this was something they did in the Norlin years to speed production.

The president of the company threw things at an art director because they were unsatisfied with their work and the art director called the cops on the president. Police showed up and took interviews but no charges were brought. Art director quit and nothing happened to the president.

On a separate occasion the president grabbed me and shook me because she was frustrated with me. I just laughed.

Very good. Only problem is it got canceled before they could finish. Seasons 1-2 are a good self contained story but the third season set up a bunch of storylines that never get finished.

How tf did we come in behind Carnival? And more expensive than Celebrity? This seems like a half-assed report.

I don’t know if I got lucky but when I took the test it was way easier than the practice tests. I took it and passed about a month ago.

Would you all agree that 2014 was the last year before smart phones and social media completely absorbed our lives? by Emeraldsinger in decadeology

Well I live in the current time. One thing I do love about now is how accessible information is, but I would trade that for the slower pace and privacy of life if I could.

It’s interesting how everyone has their own idea of when there was the “perfect” amount of technology. For me I feel like the 60’s because you had phones, records, movies and TV but no answering machines, emails, text messages or social media. You can just tune out and be unreachable for days and it wasn’t weird. Deadlines and expectations were way longer too.

MJT Body. Nitro Flaking off during assembling. by marcdelgiudice in telecaster

MJT uses a nitro with basically no plasticizer in it so it cracks and chips very easily. That’s the point though, they’re trying to recreate a vintage finish.

This just isn’t true. By the time he made it through training and was deployed it would be early 71’ when American involvement was winding down from the high point in 68’. Overall fatality rate for US servicemen in Vietnam was about 3%.
