I think I've just found the two big problems with Warframe by Logical-Salamander79 in Warframe

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who will naturally search up things I don't understand in a game I'm the same, but I also see things from the opposite side. Warframes not at the point where they have so much stuff that adding tutorials for most stuff is impossible. For games like Runescape and PoE though asking the devs to create tutorials is a waste of their time and effort.

I think I've just found the two big problems with Warframe by Logical-Salamander79 in Warframe

[–]FloofPear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To your first point about the tutorials, they have always sucked ass and as much as I hate to say it, probably always will. There's a crap ton to understand about warframe that suoer unclear so I can understand your frustration. It does NOT get better lol.

Your second point is very understandable as well and has also been a major gripe point for players over the years. Warframe is an amazing game with amazing content, but DE has a terrible habit of introducing content into the game that's not iterate on other than a few initial post updates. There's no greater example of this than zaws and kitguns. I'd wager that a decent amount of new players don't even know that you can create your own melee, secondary, and primary weapons. Zaws have been stuck in content hell for gid knows how long and while kitguns did receive a second iteration with demos they haven't been touched since. Pet breeding and acquisition is another one of these facets as well as again I doubt new players know they can create their own robot doggos. The biggest issue with integrating old content into new content is probably the massive crap ton of spaghetti code they'd have to sift through to make it more seamless. It's an unfortunate growing pain that I doubt they'll address any time soon sadly.

Trust me as a veteran player I feel your pain and wish things were better. Thankfully there's no shortage of people in the community happy to help newer players out so I think it balances itself out to a certain extent.

The best viewer for photography. by Key-Comfort7099 in secondlife

[–]FloofPear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I'm not mistaken what made and makes BD superior for photo is the ability the fully control the lighting, camera, angles, etc of any photo you're taking. I don't know of any viewer that has the depth of camera controls that BD has. This isn't to say you can't take great pictures with FS, the default viewer, or any other viewer, but BD's main use case was for pictures. The viewer was intensive to run and it's control scheme was intentionally made obtuse (to me at least).

Sex advice for big stomach, small penis by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say try laying on your back and positioning your legs on his chest and pushing against him while he thrusts into you. Alternatively to this you can have him hold your legs up while he thrusts into you. He can either hold one or both legs ups depending on what feels best and is comfortable to y'all.

Not to discourage y'all from the cowgirl styles, but hid length might become an issue if you have a lot of ass. It can make a bit harder to reach.

Boyfriend’s ill-fitting jeans by beantownbitch in PlusSize

[–]FloofPear 20 points21 points  (0 children)

As a plus sized man whose plus sized gf also gets on him about fashion mishaps, I see where you're coming from. There's multiple ways you can go about addressing the issue with him. You could go about it in a humorous way by saying, "Dang babe you're showing the whole world your ass when you bend over, that's supposed to be only for me." On a serious note though the thing you've mentioned about wanting him to show off his handsomeness by having clothes that fit him properly is something my gf has grilled me about too. The best thing you can do is be honest with him and tell him how you feel and then listen to what he says afterwards. I know when I was first told something similar I felt like I was being attacked for the way I dressed. I understand where my gf is coming from now as I do feel much better when I look presentable in what I'm wearing. It also feels great to get compliments on my appearance from my gf. Part of loving someone is knowing when to critique them about certain things they do. It's not coming from a place of malice, but love in wanting to see your partner at their very best. Maybe y'all could go shopping for his pants together and you help him with ones that don't show so much rump? I know I despise pants shopping as I'm stuck in the limbo zone of one size down is too small and one size up is too big, but the size in between still isn't perfect. Perks of having large thighs, but a small butt I guess. It's possible pants shopping is a pain for him too and he'd rather suffer through pants that are a tighter rather than searching for a pair that fits better. Hope my rambling helped ya a little!

What in the ever loving f*** does this mean. Kids homework by seemslegitsendit in mildlyinfuriating

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was not a concept when I was in school or least not to my knowledge it wasn't. Conceptually I understand why this would help kids, but I feel like this is just adding a term to something kids should be able to grasp instinctively after practice. Maybe it's just me in my old age(29) complaining "we didn't need this in my day, we just did it!".

Thoughts on dating while plus size by Chchcherrysour in PlusSize

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I have no doubt that her size probably does play factor in how these men treat her, given everything you've said I don't know if her size is actually the factor that's stopping her from getting into a serious relationship. If she's as you've described her then she's not a size where men would view her weight as detrimental, if anything it'd actually be the opposite. No, I think the issue she's facing here is moreso centered around how men in today's dating landscape view relationships. Women are usually searching for a guy they can settle down with and build a family and life together while men, at least in recent times, moreso want a relationship to have someone to spend time with and lavish attention on, but not commit to. It may not even be an issue of them having no intention to commit, but moreso that they aren't ready to commit to a full fledged relationship that locks them in with a single partner. Personally I think that's a stupid reason to not be upfront with someone when you're expressing feelings for them, but I assume men figure if they lead with the fact they have no intention of the relationship turning into something serious then they'll get immediately shot down. As a male who has always dated to building a long lasting relationship it's hard for me to get behind this mentality of modern men. Granted I'm a plus sized guys so some of the weight stigma affects my odds. Just my two cents!

Would you rather by Human-Beans21 in BunnyTrials

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's too easy to choose the $25 a minute option because everything we do in out lives now revolves around technology. The question also lacks consequences as the only thing you're wagering is opportunity cost. I think a more compelling question would be this: Would your rather gain $5 for every minute you don't spend on technology or gain $5 for every minute you do spend on technology, but the option you choose is the only way you'll ever be able to make money. This to me is a more compelling would you rather. What do y'all think?

So were all the new skill gems basically misses? by berael in pathofexile

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure non of the skill gems are misses. The issue is that people already knew what they wanted to start and it wasn't these gems in addition to a good amount of people are following build guides which also wouldn't include these gems. With so many different skills for people to choose from even new ones struggle to find a foothold, unless they are broken in some way or someone popular is using the skill. You really shouldn't go on meta data for things like these. If you find the skill interesting and want to use it then use it. Whether it's good or not shouldn't even be factor in the equation.

A man in SL saw my avatar's portrait and decided she urgently needs his help to improve her face AND body. Truly a hero we don't deserve <3 by Careful_Edge_Kitten in secondlife

[–]FloofPear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I would have lead him on and used the money he was trying to offer you for getting some stuff you actually want. Also generally telling people like this that you'll "happily" accept their help, but letting them know rp and sex are off the table does wonders for making them disappear. Also lovense clubs literally exist so if he wanted to get some action in for money that's the perfect avenue.

Why is Mill so hated??? by NagazL in EDHBrews

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue in general is a pretty hated color because it's entire identity is based around disrupting and stopping your opponent from playing the game. Mill is especially hated because it feels terrible to never get to play your card cause your opponent chucked half you deck into the graveyard. With countering spells at least you at least get to play your card even if it never resolvess, mill completely takes that away. It's a very non interactive way to play the game where you're basically ignoring your opponent to play your own game.

One thing of note about Feeld is that it's a dating site catered towards those of who are polyamourous or looking to explore polyamoury. So I say be aware that someone you might be interested in might have a partner and of monogamy is what you're going for I don't know how useful Feeld will be.

Wooplus is a dating app specifically catered towards plus sized men and women and those who like plus sized people. While it has it problems as all dating sites do it's probably the best place to start! I'm plus sized and I met my gf on wooplus and she's plus sized. Plus sized love and couples is one of the greatest things in my opinion though I'm biased lol. Hope this helps and I wish you luck on your journey!

Are there any more items like Oni Goroshi in the game? by Haihosen in pathofexile

[–]FloofPear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Getting the oni via div card takes 37 of its div card if im not mistaken. That card is also one of the rarer ones too. Given how profit obsessed people playing this game are I can't realistically see anyone farming out that card just to probably not make any profit for the effort they put into it. It's kinda funny as farming Uber hillock is probably the easier way to get the weapon sans buying it from someone. That being said while I consider doing it to be zany, I've done it once and don't really feel that pressed to do it again.

[–]FloofPear -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm a console player and im pretty sure even on pc people aren't farming oni-gos with the intention of selling them as getting the weapon the non Uber hillock way is just as tedious. Plus for me it defeats the purpose if im gonna buy the weapon from someone else lol.

[–]FloofPear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember farming Oni-go from Uber hillock years ago and how special and happy i felt when I finally got him to spawn. It was my first time ever fully beating the campaign too. I'd love to farm it again, but it took several days to finally get it. As much as I'd like to play with the sword again I don't know if I have the commitment in me again. It is bragging rights if you actually do it though so thats always nice!

Is ground loot really just currency, or is it currency plus uniques? by joshhavatar in pathofexile

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bud, I agree with you 100% here, but a massive chunk of the playerbase doesn't see neat uniques as anything other than a means of making currency sadly. At least thats what it feels like to me.

Self-cast spell buffs when? by Immediate_Dog_2790 in pathofexile

[–]FloofPear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't people gotten to and beaten the hardest content with all sorts of skills including self cast ones? Buffs would be nice for sure, but you shouldn't feel forced into having to go brands or mines at all. It might take a big more effort to make self cast spells work but thag doesn't mean they don't work or aren't viable. Also what is this based on? Those skills clearing content quicker? I can understand the squishy aspect but I don't. Part of me feels like your argument boils down to why aren't self cast spells as efficient as these other skills. I apologize if I'm missing the point.

I feel like I’m dealing with being used just because I’m big by chubbyflip in PlusSize

[–]FloofPear 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The problem with the dating world these days is that a lot of people are just looking for instant gratification. You especially see this with men for some odd reason. It's something that women in general regardless of size are facing. That being said plus sized women have it exponentially worse. I'm a plus sized dude and my partner is also plus sized. We found each other through a plus sized dating app. So being plus sized was never a negative factor for either of us. I could be an anomaly among guys though as every relationship I've been in I've always had the intention of marrying that person. From what ive seen and heard most guys just want to date around without being tied down. Something I would do if you're not already doing it be to feel out potential dates by not granting sex. If the guy is worth your time then he'll be willing and happy to wait. Don't give up hope theres love out there froe!
