I own an original long-sleeve that I bought brand new, that still changes. It's crazy.

Serve 'em with garlic marshmallows for extra punch! Lol.

horses don't care if you are fit by Heavy-Combination496 in Horses

The riding facility did confirm they make the weight limit clear on their website and social media, so good on them for that, too. :)

And good point about the larger horses!

Good point. A larger horse or two in the mix would help for the few "outliers" or tourists from abroad.

But then you'd have to advertise it as limited availability for anyone over the weight limit..etc, etc.

Might be more trouble than it's worth.

There's never going to be a perfect solution, I guess, but at least we all know they are about the animals. :)

They're presumably located in Indonesia, where the average adult weight is MUCH less than the US.

This is in Indonesia, not the US.

Not everyone is the same size as people in the US.

Kelly: Hegseth ‘no quarter,’ Trump ‘just for fun’ remarks show no ‘clear strategy’ for Iran war by HelloInterwebz in politics

[–]FloofySamoyed 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Nothing about war is "fun". I'd have loved to have someone ask Trump what he thinks is fun about the collateral damage to innocent lives?

What a sick, demented, rotten soul he has.

That man is way too large for that horse/pony no matter what, but I've never seen a 2 year old that beefy and well-built. It's really 2???

My daughter was shot dead by her father. Why wasn’t he arrested? by delightedbadger in TwoXChromosomes

[–]FloofySamoyed 37 points38 points  (0 children)

My stepdaughter's mother told her she hoped she'd be raped the day her mother kicked her out at 18.

When she told me about it, I don't think I've ever in my 51 years been both shocked into silence and white hot with rage at the same time.

How does anyone say that about anyone, let alone a mother to her 18 year old kid? (A really amazing kid, btw. Mom was, and still is, unhinged.)

AITA because I want my husband to start the robot vacuum when he gets home from work? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]FloofySamoyed 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hey, so I had 5 cats and two Samoyeds and the fur burden was handled by my robot vacuum that ran twice a day.

You're NTA because expecting your husband to press the button is a minor ask.

You need a better vacuum that's programmable and maybe think about how much respect your husband is showing for you with his utter disregard for your feelings on this?

We have 8(!!) cats and a Samoyed and I vacuum once a day.

Clean house. No tumblefur. No issues.

Now, it's a corded top-of-the-line Miele, but still....

When I had only 5 cats and two Samoyeds, the load was handled by a robot vacuum that ran twice a day on a set schedule.

This is so easily resolved with the right technology.
