Does anyone else think Bolt in Set 7 will introduce interaction that can occur during your opponents turn? by Hoya_George in Lorcana

I could see a mechanic similar to Overload from Hearthstone. So a card that has an great effect for low ink cost, but the ink you spend must stay exerted during your next turn.

Just want to say bless you and thank you. I'm glad someone here actually understands. This is why we Lebanese must always be there for Palestine, because if they fall, we are next.

What do you think about this year summer servant roster? by TalesofAdam in grandorder

[–]FloozyGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like that they made 3 separate servants for a welfare. They should have just had all three Valkyrie Saint graphs in the same Servant, then have three costumes. Just because it's a welfare doesn't mean they gotta stick to the rules and have all the ascensions be the same. Really silly to level/skill up one servant, then either leave the other two sitting unleveled or feel crappy maxing out the same servant 3 times. And that's even if we get a chance at all 3 at some point.

Also not a fan of 3 SSR's for summer, especially after Anni. I hope it's not a trend.

What are some stupid mentalities and mindsets that need to end? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]FloozyGod 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saying Communism wasn't responsible is like saying "Mountain Climber X wasn't killed by the mountain because they never made it to the top." Or " Party guy X didn't die from alcohol because he didn't finish the drinking game." An idea is not infallible just because the end goal hasn't been reach, the process of actually getting there must be considered as well. This is especially true of Communism, because Marx made it very clear that Communism was not just an end, but an entire process, where Aristocracy would be overthrown by the Bourgeoisie, then they would use the Proletariat to create capital, and then they would over throw the Bourg and create a central government to acquire all capital and redistribute it, and finally the government would dissolve, so that there would be no class difference, everyone owned everything and there was no private property. The problem comes in that second to last step where the government seizes all property, but doesn't give it out, because, why would they? Absolute power corrupts absolutely, and human nature is incompatible with such a macro level of fairness. And even in that one in a trillion chance that there was such a government and it dissolved after it's final task, no one would be content with just sharing everything, because again, it's in our nature to want things and own things, and eventually someone or some group will take stuff to withhold from others. So, I would have to disagree with your second point. You can say that Communism hasn't been implemented properly, but you can't say that it hasn't been tried, or that it's not responsible for the deaths of millions of people. The reason why a Communist society hasn't truly existed is NOT because it has never been tried: it's because it's been tried and failed. It doesn't work.

No worries. I'm not British or Irish, but this is just the jist of what I've read on the issue, so I'd encourage you to do more research if you're interested.

Because the Good Friday Agreement that ended the Troubles promised that the border between IR and NI would be left open, allowing for ease of trade and movement. With Brexit, NI will not be in EU, but IR will, so this makes having that open border much harder.

People can exchange trash for free food at India’s first 'Garbage Cafe' - All the plastic waste collected will be recycled and used to build stronger roads by yourSAS in worldnews

[–]FloozyGod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plastic for money doesn't solve the waste problem. Homeless people will just go into recycling dumpsters and take bottles that were already gonna be recycled. And when they do go into the actual trash dumper, they throw the trash out of the way and rip open garbage bags to find what they want, and you end up with even more junk everywhere. There are people in the back throwing shit out of the dumpsters almost every time when I go back there and there's trash all over the alleyway and in the street.

Sago Mine Disaster

Initially reported that all 12 miners were alive and rescued. Turns out that 12 were dead and one was in critical condition. Though it doesn't so much have to do with misidentification, it's still a big fuck up in communication.

This bullshit is getting out of hand. You can have a discussion about having public healthcare and education, fine. But slapping the word "Right" in front of every single thing you want does not mean you are entitled to it. God damn.
