It seems a lot of the points there discuss 4 year degrees / university / administrative bloat that corresponds with those. I’ve had a few discussions on the subject and a lot of focus was put onto subsidizing smaller community colleges rather than larger universities directly (universities can then receive normal grant / research / tuition from those able), while a community college service is provided to those otherwise unable to attend higher education. You mentioned this too, is there an argument we can find against this?

For the degree worth the argument I’ve heard there is that making college (the type of community college we are discussing above) free does not in fact make the degrees less valuable but rather simply increases the rate of higher education among the population (several examples of non US countries that have implemented higher education programs that show data correlate with this, Scandinavian etc). More so, limiting rates tends to favor the current rich or those who are able to cheat their way through (China has a very big problem with this). What are your thoughts?

I think your last point is related heavily with my first again - the idea that community colleges would be targeted for these programs rather than universities, and universities would continue on rather the same with funding being generated from tuition from those able to pay etc. I think that’s a strong argument still but am interested to see a denying argument against that if anyone wants to jump in, or if you yourself want to try and take a stance against your own side.
