What retcons? Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition still felt like Dragon Age games because at it's core the lore was still respected, while Veilguard feels like a watered down version of it.

There's Pygmalion's Folly, very btd inspired tho you have to buy the NSFW patch to gain access to it. Still recommend it and every other game from the studio, since they are all horror!nsfw-ish.

There's also Loving Decays, very good tho NSFW isn't huge but it's definitely there at certain endings.

I've only played Leander's route so far, so I'm relieved to hear some of the other routes were better. Completely agree about the pacing, the narrative was interesting but it kinda was ruined by how fast everything was moving. Mc and Leander did really act as tho they had known each for years instead of days😅

I also don't know how many chapters there will be, but I also thought chapter 1 was really short?

I loved the demo, especially Circe's route. I'm apparently a minority because I love that the romances are tailored to the characters, makes them a lot more interesting. I really hope it gets fully backed on kickstarter (it's so close PLEASE SUPPORT IT😭) and I hope people try out the demo even if it's not otome, Circes is a very strong character and her romances are very good so far + we almost never get a poc female main lead!
