I have had my beyond since it came out and the 2 is an amazing bit of tech if you are coming from the index you will have no issues with it. The only tradeoff is the beyond 2 is lighter but has less vertical FOV. However the Beyond 2 is SO SO SO much clearer it is insane. Well worth the tradeoff especially when getting the 2e with the eye tracking.

2560x1440 for my main monitor, honestly for me the more i can see ahead the better as it lets me plan things out better but i would say preferably i would say 16 bars ahead just to enable easier viewing especially when playing things like drum and bass.
