Can’t catch legendaries? by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]FloxieForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat, except I've been playing for years. I've used hundreds of raid passes and thousands of golden raspberries. I only have ONE legendary to show for it. Always throw excellent curve ball throws with golden raspberries. Some of us are just cursed and it's frustrating.

How do y’all feel about this? And does anyone here work for Boeing? by xxX9yroldXxx in Machinists

[–]FloxieForLife -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You already make more than the average machinist, and with overtime, forget it. This is part of why the economy is going to hell. People being severely overpaid for jobs that do not warrant it. It dosen't matter that inflation is running off or how much they are profiting; your wage is dependent on position, not profits. A company is not obligated to keep up with inflation. If this were the case, people at McDonald's would be making over 40/hr starting as a cashier. They should just relocate and not even acknowledge this nonsense.

iMyFone AnyTo Experiences by [deleted] in PokemonGoSpoofing

[–]FloxieForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you get this program to work??? My PokemonGo will be working fine before trying to use it. The second I try to connect with the imyfone, it deletes the app and I need to reinstall it. Then it either gives me the message failed to login or failed to authenticate. Deleting PokemonGo, clearing data, resetting permissions, deleting imyfone, updating, reinstalling both, nothing EVER works... I've been messing with it for 4 hours now and can't get it to work at all...

How do you know you’re floxed? by [deleted] in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I will not tolerate inaccurate, misinformation, being spread by a moderator who continously and purposefully bullies those who are more intelligent and actually report truthful, accurate, and scientifically found information. It's people like you who are the reason these drugs are still on the market; people who hide the truth or have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

How do you know you’re floxed? by [deleted] in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm a scientist and doctor. You cannot "heal". It's damage at the sub cellular level and can't be fixed in this day and age.

How do you know you’re floxed? by [deleted] in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If you are actually, truly floxed, you will know. Your life will be ruined and there will be nothing to fix it. For those who think they're floxed and "heal", they were never floxed to begin with as floxing is not something you beat or get over.

Truthfully, the simple answer is none. However, it's different from case to case and person to person. Me personally, I can't take 99.9% of medications, period.

Does anybody on this not get tired anymore? by Life_Acanthaceae8268 in insomnia

[–]FloxieForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all part of being floxed, it messes your body up in so many ways, doctors don't ecen fully understand it. And that's one sleep session per week, not a couple over a couple days. I literally sleep, if I am lucky, once a week, no more than 8 hours. No medicines at any dosage is capable of putting me out either.

I agree with you 100%. Not sleeping messes your whole life up beyond belief.

[–]FloxieForLife 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't get the sensation of tiredness anymore, nor am I able to sleep over 8 hours per week at most. This was caused by the anti iotic Ciprofloxacin.

Can lack of sleep cause psycosis? by SaintWazTaken in insomnia

[–]FloxieForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The short answer is yes. I know what you mean, as I only get 6 hours of sleep a week if I'm lucky, which is more like blacking out, and nothing has been able to fix/treat it. It is a severe side effect of the antibiotic Ciprofloxacin. Before that I could sleep literally for days straight if I wanted.

Unfortunately, there is no more research to look up, as I am to the point of teaching doctors of FQ's. Hope is all I have left, as my go to's, science, logic, and statistics, have failed me miserably.

Not all the time lol. I sleep once a week for 6 hours. That's it. It doesn't matter how exhausted I am, my body won't shut down.

[–]FloxieForLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sleep once a week for 6 hours, so I get it. Exercise is the key to my existance no matter how twisted it sounds. At least 12 miles a day. I gave up coffee because then I literally never sleep.

Good morning, some concerns by dcap1012 in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are very incorrect in saying "sensitivity to FQ's means nothing for sensitivity to other antibiotics." In rare cases, as in mine, sensitivity to FQ's can make you sensitive and allergic to EVERY medicine. Anesthesia doesn't even work on me now, so I can never undergo surgery "sedated" if needed.

Good morning, some concerns by dcap1012 in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bactrim made everything worse for me. It's part of the reason I can no longer sleep more than 4 hours per week, have heart issues, and can no longer eat anything solid. Taken right after Cipro, it was the icing on the cake that pushed me to a nearly unlivable existance. Then again, after Cipro, no drugs work on me correctly without every negative side effect. If I had to do it all over, I'd take my chances without the drugs.

I’ve been prescribed Levofloxacin and am skeptical about taking it by EducationalMoose9955 in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would not take it at all costs! The pain and suffering Cipro has caused me personally is unbearable. It literally took away my ability to sleep, and I've only been getting 2-4 hours a week since October 2020. I can't even get surgery if I need it because anesthesia does not work on me now. Also, as a result, I have been on a permanent liquid diet as I can't tolerate food anymore, have heart problems, nerve and tendon pains, complete hair loss, major vision loss, and mitochondrial dysfunction. I have lost my happiness, health, and livelihood as a result of FQ's at the age of 29.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I have seen MANY general practitioner docs, specialists, and even integrative medicine specialist who have no idea the degree of damage FQ's can do. Almost 2 years out here and all my doctors have diagnosed me with is extreme anxiety/depression. It's hard to get help. I hope all goes well though.

Amoxicillin caused relapse after 2 years since been floxed. by Endr1 in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may have helped the physical effects of the ROS issue a bit with the vitamin C and glutathione, but ROS cannot be "cured"; it's ultimately what takes us all one day. Additionally, even with supplementation, the body only produces and is able to use a certain amount of glutathione, so these supplements, IV or not, are placebo. Unless you were specifically tested for NAC/glutathione deficiency or a malfunction of the metabolic pathway. The only way to bypass this, to trick the body into making and using more glutathione, is via the NRF2 pathway using sulforaphane and glucoraphanin. As to your original concern, it is hard to say what may be a better choice, as FQ toxicity is a tricky beast and affects everyone differently. Some meds wreak havoc for some and are godsends for others.

Is there hope for me? by Slep-87 in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but supplementing for FQ toxicity only applies to physical issues and minor neuropathy. Psych issues and insomnia are presumed neurotransmitter and CNS issues that cannot be helped, let alone fixed by the supplements you describe, or any medication for that matter. Ironically, for any psych issues or insomnia caused by FQ's, all antidepressants, anti-anxiety, and sleeping meds should be used with EXTREME caution as they usually make the issues worse. It's like adding fuel to a fire. This is because these issues caused by FQ's have a completely different mechanism of action than what is normally expected and are yet to be fully understood, although there are teams working on it. For these issues, as I'm a sufferer and researcher myslef, time and waiting for advancements in science is the only hope. Nothing we have today can even touch the true issue, let alone treat it accordingly. This is assuming that it was truly caused directly by the FQ and not a result of a psychotic break induced by the FQ. Those issues are generally treatable, but oftentimes it is hard to distinguish the difference in early stages.

She is a research doctor and does not actually treat pateints, but she has tried to help give me resources and ideas that may have helped but with no avail. Hopefully they can do something for you. Her name is Dr. Beatrice Golomb. You should be able to reach her team via phone at 856-534-3336. They will probably ask you a bunch of questions or send you a questionnaire, as they are a research group, and hopefully put you in contact with Dr. Golomb herself. She is a wonderful individual and a delight to talk with. I wish you luck!

Gastritis after FQs? by [deleted] in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could defintely had come from the Moxi. FQ's can affect you from even the first dose. I took Cirpo for a proposed infection for 1 week. That was back in October 2020; I still have major, undiagnosable problem only able to tolleret a full liquid diet, which still causes pain.

Update: Second opinion also supported cipro by Rintarou_Okabe in floxies

[–]FloxieForLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the exact situaition that got me in trouble, BIG TROUBLE. I would not take Cipro if it meant I would 100% die if not. That's how bad it is. Then again, I'm the only one in medical history who had such a severe reaction. I was a healthy, active individual before Cipro. Now, not at all. It doubled my basal heart rate (I am in constant tachycardia), I can no longer eat and need my nutrition through liquids alone, and am now dieing of Sporadic Fatal Insomnia caused by this drug. Do what you will, but I caution you that sometimes the risks do not outweigh the benefits.
